Quiet, clean, private pitches!

The showers and toilets are very clean. The electric pitches have tall grass in between them, so it feels very private. There's a nice dog walking area. The owners were also very friendly and helpful. Great experience!

Great stay!

Had a lovely weekend here. The site is well drained and wasn't a problem for our MH, even in the rain. Very spacious pitches, water and EHU on each pitch too. The toilet block was cleaned every day and there was a good functional kitchen, washing up area and clothes line. It's very close to Minchinhampton (5 min walk) where there is a lovely butcher, general groceries, post office, couple of coffee shops and a great pub (The Crown) where we had Sunday lunch. All in all, a great weekend at a good value and well run campsite. Thank you Lucy!

Great stay

Great adults only campsite, nice and quiet, clean facilities, fridge and freezer a great help when in a tent. Lovely place. More expensive than what I'm normally used to but that's probably due to the location as others were a similar price, if not more.

Lovely, quiet, spacious site!

Really haven't got a single bad word to say. Pitches were spacious, the whole site was very peaceful, with lovely surrounding views. Plenty of toilet/shower facilities which were always clean. Kitchen including communal fridge/freezer, washing machine etc, and firepits/wood on offer. There was even a secure dog walking area where dogs can be let off lead, great for them to go to the toilet. Lucy, the host, was very friendly and helpful, and it was very cool to see two donkeys grazing in the next field!

Great location

Warm welcome from Lucy. Lovely large pitches. Well drained ground. Grass kept nice. Facilities very good and clean. Very dog friendly- Maddison was lovely- a big softie! Lovely market town just a short walk away. Fantastic walks over the common. Good definitely book again.

A wonderful site, host and stay

Just got back from a Fantastic stay at tobacconist farm campsite. Lucy the owner was amazing, who went above and beyond to make our stay and experience a brilliant one. Spotless and spacious site, with excellent facilities. Just a short walk into a beautiful village, and bus stop for further afield activities and adventures! Would highly recommend, and already contemplating our next visit!

Another fantastic stay (3rd time), great facilities, very clean. Very friendly & helpful owner, will definitely come back again. Lovely walk down into the village for lunch.

Great first visit

Really great campsite, would love to give it a full 5 stars but they was a large group that were enjoying themselves well into the night which meant sleep was lacking! That didn't take anything away from the site, great pitch sizes, clean toilets and showers and great little dog walking area.

Fantastic site

Had a lovely stay, location is perfect with a short walk to the beautiful village of Minchinhampton. A wonderful Sunday roast at the Crown. The site is clean with great pitches, loads of space between pitches, shower and toilet facilities are great, very clean. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely part of England.

First time campers

We had a very enjoyable short stay at Tobaconist Farm. The site was perfect for our needs; large pitch, good clean facilities and a very helpful host in Lucy. The site is a very short walk into Minchinhampton centre (less than 5 minutes) where there is an excellent pub and a couple of nice coffee shops and a shop for essentials.

A beautiful location and very peaceful well run campsite

Minchinhampton is a very beautiful location. A little Gem of a village in the Cotswolds. The Farm setting was also very peaceful with amazingly good, well kept facilities block. Lots of space for your camping area be it with tent, campervan or caravan. A warm welcome from Lucy who shows you to your plot and explains everything. Once you leave the town, head for the common. You'll be welcomed by free roaming cattle, and horses. Pubs and restaurants surround the common. Hunt them down for some fantastic food and local beers, not to mention the views. Sshhhh! Keep it to yourself.

Well kept site great location

We received a very warm welcome from lucy. Campsite was very clean good hook up and showers and toilets spotless.

Perfect

Adorable site in a cute village with café, pub & shop. Short stroll to common with amazing views across valley. Showers clean & adequate with plenty hot water. Options of loo & basin or shower. Shaded wooded walk ideal for Pooch. Loved the wild grass bays giving you a sense of privacy & best of all, adult only. Nice & peaceful. Would definitely return!

Perfect

Loved it! So peaceful and relaxing. Lovely clean facilities. Some lovely donkeys that come and say hello. This is the best campsite I have stayed on! 5 minute walk into the town. Highly recommended.

Perfect peaceful stay

Excellent site. Perfect spot. for couples (or singles) or groups of friends. Quiet and peaceful. Ideal location. Close to to small town and plenty of lovely walks. Nailsford is worth a visit and Box wood is very pretty.. Minchinhampton itself is a very easy 10-minute walk and the Crown is friendly and does good food and nice beer. Showers are clean and also powerful. Very useful to have a fridge/freezer to use in the kitchen although not much room when it's busy. also washing machine. Washing line - all helpful extras. Loads of firepits available if you don't have your own. Bins provided so you don't have to take rubbish home, with recycling. Lucy very friendly and helpful - oh and 2 beautiful Donkeys in the field next door. What more could you want?

No shade in tent area.

I think it's really unfair to give my campsite a bad review because it didn't have the right shade you required on one of the hottest weekends this decade! The campsite does have shade in many places but unfortunately not a single campsite in this country has shade for everyone when the weather reaches over 30°.

Perfect quiet campsite

Really can't fault this fabulous campsite. A quiet adult only bolt hole on the edge of a smashing little village. Great facilities, absolutely spotless. Large pitches, with a good degree of privacy and thankfully on the hottest week of the year, a good amount of shade. Will definitely visit again.

Tobbacconist campsite

We had a lovely stay, the camp is open and quiet. A small corner to ourselves with a picnic bench and fields next to us. Everyone was respectful and the facilities were amazing.

5 star relaxation

Best campsite. We had a lovely relaxing stay without any issues. Campfire every night. Site very clean and noise free.
