With picturesque views over the Shropshire Hills, Mowbray Meadow is a walker's paradise! Either drive five minutes to the Shropshire Hills or drive just ten minutes to Long Mynd and enjoy some fantastic hikes with your pup from this dog friendly site. There are a range of non electric grass pitches suitable for both campervans and tents, plus a cosy furnished bell tent, perfect for a family of four. Campfires are also allowed.

Really lovely how the owners came round and greeted everyone and explained where all the facilities were. Toilets extremely clean and lovely views. Will definitely be back!

My mum and I stayed at Mowbray Campsite for two nights and were blown away by the beauty of Shropshire. Sophie and her partner Nick made us feel so welcome, they truly couldn’t do enough to help and their warm, friendly approach set the tone for a relaxing stay. There were plenty of pitches, and despite a few other campers, no nearly neighbours and so much space. We also really appreciated the newly added road leading up to the site - which made the drive up comfortable. The toilets were exactly as described but with a thoughtful extra: a selection of handy bits and bobs you might forget when packing for a camping trip, a really lovely touch. The surrounding area is stunning, with loads of gorgeous walks right on the doorstep. We will definitely be back, thanks to Sophie and Nick for such a lovely experience. There’s also a pub 5 mins down the road which is perfect for some grub after a long walk.

Great campsite, we just made the mistake of going during some very bad weather. Most of the pitch area is on top of a hill, so is windy in a storm. There are toilets and shower facilities as well as water.
