Perfect
VW-Type Campervan - Gravel Pitches (Awnings) Oct 2022 What more could you want? This was the last day of the season for Cwmdu but everyone was really friendly and welcoming and I will definitely be back next season for longer. Lovely pitches and surroundings, really well-kept but enough in the wilds to make it feel like an adventure.
Fabulous facilities and breathtaking views
Motorhome - Grass Covered Hardstanding Pitches (Awnings) Oct 2022 A wonderful few days. Warm and friendly welcome. Great facilities where showers and toilets were very clean and working well. Pitch was fine with tremendous views of the hills on either side. Great walks ( free maps and good advice). And you have to eat at the Farmers Arms, just a ten minute walk.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Awnings) Oct 2022 A very well maintained site with lovely staff. Great little shop, just a shame it is shut for most of the day on weekdays. Had a nice dinner at the local pub!
Beautiful, peaceful site
VW-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (No Awnings) Oct 2022 Stayed during the October Half Term and had a very peaceful and quiet stay. Beautiful views from the site and the site was lovely, with clean and modern showers and toilets.
We visited Pen Y Fan and Four Waterfalls from the site. All within a short drive. We visited The Farmers Arms, a short walk from the site and had a warm welcome and lovely meal.
Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Camping Pod - Log Pods (Dog Friendly) Oct 2022 This was a lovely little place to stay. Make sure you book pubs in advance as they get booked up very quickly. Also, internet service and phone reception isn't the best.

VW-Type Campervan - Grass Covered Hardstanding Pitches (Awnings) Oct 2022 Cwmdu campsite is in a beautiful location with mountain views. The pitches are well kept and the showers and toilets spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave us tips for walks and even lent us a map. Altogether, highly recommended.
One of the best
Motorhome - Gravel Pitches (Awnings) Oct 2022 We've been using campsites for over 30 years and this one is in the top five!
Staff really helpful, even loaned us a can opener when ours broke :-)
Mobile coverage on o2 and Vodafone is a bit sketchy (whilst on the site), but we found a couple of places that we could use to make calls.
Getting the Freeview tuned in was difficult, but with the helpful advice from the wardens we got enough channels to keep us happy each evening.
There is free Wi-Fi available, which gives good speed and coverage, try to avoid streaming live TV to be fair to other users.
The site is spotless and has spectacular views, plenty of space for teenagers etc.
We will be back to see more!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Oct 2022 It was pretty empty as it was the first weekend in October but that suited us! Warm welcome by owner. The toilet block was very clean and showers were good. Was great that there was a fridge and freezer for use by campers and 3 x washing up sinks. Lovely setting. Would definitely stay again :-)
A nice place to be
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 I chose this site purely because it was about 20 minutes from home and I figured I could cycle that. I was greeted on entrance and given my space. There was even an offer to reopen the shop which has closed for lunch. The site is spacious and spotlessly clean. There are a number of walks that you can launch from the site. When I go again I'll take a car though. The local pub closed Mon and Tue and the cafe Tue and Wed. Definitely a place to recommend.

Fantastic stay
Motorhome - Gravel Pitches (No Awnings) Sep 2022 From the moment we arrived, the camp staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
The site itself is in a beautiful spot, which just adds to it. Nothing was too much if any help was needed. There is the added bonus of a little shed with both BBQs and firepits to borrow if required with the on-site shop selling almost everything you'll need, including charcoal and logs. The washing machine and tumble dryer were extremely useful also.
We will most definitely be returning.
