Just a stone's throw from the coastline and pretty village of Pett, the farm is an ideal base for exploring. A ten minute walk will have you at the beach, a place that is known as a sanctuary for endangered wildlife. You'll be neighbours with ewes and cross-bred cows and calves, plus you'll catch sight of mighty Bertie the bull as you explore the farm. There are picturesque original farm buildings to spot, a host of sweet ponds and wildlife including water voles. The farm takes conservation seriously and has joined the Higher Level Environmental Stewardship Scheme. Apart from the farm's larger animals, there are free-range ducks and chickens which you're more than welcome to meet. No dogs are permitted at this site, sorry.

Sussex is spoiled with seaside attractions and more than its fair share of fantastic sections along the South Coast. In Hastings 20 minutes away, there's an ancient castle to tickle your fancy and the St Clement's Caves which have a rich smuggling history. There's also a pier, where you can fish or settle down to sip something cold and take in the view.
The Dungeness National Nature Reserve just 35 minutes away is not to be missed, home to 600 species of plants, swooping birds and other incredible wildlife. There are a number of beaches close by, including Rye Bay (5 minutes) and Fairlight Glen (10 minutes). Not to mention the stunning golden beaches of Camber Sands 25 minutes away.
