About Bluebell Coppice Park

This family run site sits amongst stunning woodland with 60 pitches across two camping fields - each totalling approximately four acres. Plenty of electric pitches to be had! The main field is the larger of the two and can accommodate tents, caravans and motorhomes. Hardstanding pitches are in the main field only. Some pitches here also include your very own private shower room by the pitch! The second field is where you'll find the coarse fishing lake. This area is suitable for tents and caravans with some electric pitches available. If you'd rather not stay in your own unit, you'll find a set of stylish bell tents sleeping four here and even a luxurious bell tent with its own private en-suite. With swish interiors and a compact but modern style, the cabin style lodges are a great choice - and each has self-contained facilities. Dogs welcome.

Bluebell Coppice Park is open from 01/03 to 31/10.

Facilities and amenities

Site facilities include toilet block with washbasins and WC, showers with free 24 hour hot water (private en-suite shower rooms available on certain pitches and with the en-suite bell tent), freezer block service and children's play area. Coarse fishing onsite and free WiFi is available within 30 metres from reception.

Onsite, there is an honesty shop with self serve coffee and ice-cream. Within walking distance there are two pubs, both offering food.

A note from the site themselves...

Bluebell Coppice Park, formerly Brakes Coppice Park, has been a campsite for over 30 years. Myself, Des, and my wife Jules came to stay here when we were looking for a house in the area. Like our guests, we fell in love with the park, the lake, and the woodlands but saw great potential!

After talking to the owners, we discovered that the park was for sale so, instead of buying a house, we bought the campsite. The park now has woodland lodges, glamping bell tents and pitches with private bathrooms, and we have some exciting plans for the future.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesOct 2023

We really enjoyed our stay here. This was our second stop on our week away. The pitch was level and near the playground (if we stayed here again we would choose a spot further away!) We were welcomed to the site by Jules and she said to pick our own pitch. She showed us the facilities etc. Plenty of hot water and showers were kept clean and tidy. The walk up to the pub is steep, but worth it! It's along a footpath so you would need a torch if going out for the evening.

Lovely site, great for families

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2023

We had a lovely stay, it's a great place for families as there is a little play park on site. The owners are really considerate and called us the day before to check if we were coming with anyone else and pitched us next to each other. The showers and toilets were exceptionally clean and the honesty café had everything you need. We love that they took orders for croissants and made them warm and fresh in the morning. We will be coming back.

Amazing staff, super friendly, amazing communication. Staff were up-front, honest and helpful. Communication was the best we had in a long time. With a truly family feel, we have already booked again for summer this year.
