Set in stunning, tranquil countryside in Dumfriesshire, pump up your tyres and head to this working farm site. It's a fabulous area for walking, mountain biking, and golfing. Beaches and coastal villages are within easy reach as is the local town of Dumfries with all its amenities. The historic village of New Abbey is a fifteen minute walk with its Abbey, shop, pub and award winning tea room. Bird friendly hedges and borders have been planted to enhance wildlife and to provide a relaxing ambiance and privacy. Just 15 minutes from Mabie Forest with some lovely walking routes, and even some mountain biking trails! On the farm there are friendly goats and a mini museum of vintage tractors and implements. a guided tour is available on request. The site also has an adjoining certificated location caravan site at Landis Farm. Affiliated with the Caravan and Motorhome Club, this is available to members only.

New Abbey village is just a short drive away, with plenty of things to see and do including the Sweetheart Abbey and the Abbey Cottage Tearoom for food and drink. Close to Mabie Forest with good walks and mountain biking trails.
If you want to explore the outdoors, head up to the Waterloo Monument from New Abbey or hike up to the summit of Criffel for breathtaking views over the Solway Firth and even towards the Isle of Man!
Nature lovers can enjoy exploring Mabie Forest or the Kirkconnell Flow Nature Reserve which is just a ten minute drive away. 7stanes cycle tracks near by and the championship golf course at Southerness only eight miles away. Budding historians are close to the John Paul Jones Museum and the Robert Burns Trail.
