About Wigwam Holidays Water Hall Farm
The site looks out towards picturesque Sutton Bank and is just a 10 minute drive from the edge of the national park. It's home to friendly animals including sheep, pigs and alpacas and is even visited by TV vet Peter (of Yorkshire Vet fame) at times, who helps care for the farm animals. Each heated Wigwam pod includes the luxury of en-suite facilities with a WC and shower inside, plus your own private wood-fired hot tub. There's also a fully fitted kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and two hot plates. When you want to relax after a day's exploring, there's a TV inside the pod and outside you'll find a fire pit and BBQ with a picnic table for al fresco dinners. Groups are welcome provided they book the entire site for sole use. Sorry, pets cannot stay.
Wigwam Holidays Water Hall Farm is open all year round.
Facilities are self contained and en-suite within the Wigwams. There is a communal laundry building with washing machine and dryer, free WiFi and in reception you can purchase essentials and camping extras.
Supermarkets are only five miles away in Thirsk and the nearest pub is a mile away by car and a 10 minute walk with off road shortcuts.

The views from the location are fantastic. Short distance to many historic and beautiful locations, can walk or drive. Site is extremely well kept and James and Julie are unbelievably accommodating. Bethany's hamper was just the ticket for breakfast with Joseph's eggs, worth every bit. Clean, tidy, well maintained and kitted out. Once you're there, you don't have to move to get views. It's everywhere from your doorstep. Tranquil and the night sky was breath-taking. There are also friendly farm animals (including Daz…go and meet Daz 😁) Will definitely be returning. Marks out of 10 for my stay…11!

We had a lovely stay! Beautiful place! Serene and excellent facilities. Daytime we went exploring as it was situated in a convenient location. Scenic drives on the A170, an hour drive to Whitby seaside and close to Castle Howard. Came back to a relaxing hot tub and BBQ! Couldn't ask for anything more! Thank you.

I highly recommend this place! The pods are clean and have all the facilities that you need, and if you need any extra, James and Julie are an absolute delight! You ask and you will definitely get it! The pod that we stayed can comfortably accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults & 2 children! The views are stunning and no money can pay for the peace and quiet of the place. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. James was always a great help when we try to light up the fire. He is an amazing host. We visited the farm with James, definitely we advised everyone to do it, they have cows, alpacas, goats, lambs, chickens and pigs. York city centre is around 40/45min away. Near the farm, it's a variety of local shops, plus Tesco, Aldi and Lidl (10 min drive). We had eggs from Joseph (James and Julie's son). We give them 20 out of 10! A big thank you to James for his help and for being an amazing host! Can't wait to come back again soon, this time with our families!
