About Hadrian's Wall Country Yurts
An off-grid site with two 18ft Mongolian-styled yurts in the rugged Cumbrian countryside near Brampton. Previously included in The Guardian's '20 best autumn escapes around the UK' and The Evening Standard's '10 best glamping spots in the UK'.
Hadrian's Wall Path is close by, making this a great location if you want to explore the history and the country. Set on approximately three-quarters of an acre, the site is small yet spacious, with plenty of room to relax and for the kids to play. Spend time in the wood fired hot tub or toasting marshmallows round the firepit and collect your own eggs in the morning!
Inside each, you'll find a spacious double bed for a comfortable night's sleep and single beds (available on request), a kitchen bench, a 55l cool box providing fridge temperatures and relaxing chairs and bar stools.
Outside, you're treated with a wood fired hot tub under the stars, a covered cooking area with a gas hob which can double as a bar, a private seating area complete with BBQ and a picnic table for al fresco dining and seating.
The yurts are lit by fairy lights and lamps powered by a battery pack, with USB charging available for your phone. Insulated and heated by a wood burning stove, you can also stay cosy and comfy all year round. Each separated by more than 30m, each yurt also has its own private and secluded feel.
For nights in the open, guests can hire a gas BBQ or pizza oven, with pizza dough available. Warming of your hot tub before your arrival is also available for an extra fee directly with the site.
This site is pet friendly and four-legged friends can join you for your stay, with up to two dogs allowed per yurt.
Ideal for all, the yurts can be rented together or separately.
Hadrian's Wall Country Yurts is open from 29/03 to 30/11.

A note from the site themselves...
Hello, we are Caroline and Ian and we own and run Hadrian's Wall Country Yurts with our two children. We brought the site in the summer of 2021 and absolutely love it. We had been looking for a hospitality business for about a year before we found the yurts. We all knew instantly that Hadrian's Wall Country Yurts was right for us.
The yurts enable us to share our love of the outdoors and nature with others. They allow us to spend more time outside and as a family. Our children are in their element when amongst nature which is so fantastic to see.
Our aim is to provide a unique glamping experience, a rural retreat in the quiet Cumbrian countryside that can be enjoyed by families, friends and couples. An experience that allows guests to slow down and step away from their busy lives - to relax and unwind and spend precious time together, reconnecting and making lasting memories.
A quiet, spacious and tranquil hideaway where guests can be closer to nature but with plenty of home comforts and a few little luxuries.
Hadrian's Wall County Yurts really is a very special place. We hope you love it as much as we do.

18ft furnished yurts heated by wood stove. Each sleeps four, with a double bed and single beds (available upon request). Kitchen bench, bar stools and relaxing chairs. Outside your own hot tub, fire pit, table and chairs. Shared facilities nearby.
We have just stayed here for my husband's birthday. We had a fabulous time, it was immaculate in a gorgeous setting and Caroline was lovely and very helpful.
If you are looking for a get away, it's perfect and would recommend getting the hot tub pre heated for your arrival (as we did).
Loads of places to walk locally and we ate at the Howard Arms one night, which was good.
Site's response
Thank you so much for your fantastic review, we really appreciate it.
We are delighted you both enjoyed your stay at the yurts. It is lovely to get away and relax. Getting your hot tub warmed is a great idea if you want to hop straight in. Best wishes, Caroline and Ian.

Yurt - YurtsSep 2023
This was one of the best experiences we have had. The yurt was beautiful and the hot tub absolutely brilliant. Everything we needed was there. Watching the clearest night sky from a hot tub we lit ourselves felt incredible. Would come back in a heartbeat and will be recommending to everyone.
