A note from the site themselves...

We are a husband a wife team with many years experience of giving exceptional customer service. We moved to Wales after falling in love with the beaches and mountains we experienced after spending many weekends here exploring in our self-built campervan Max.

We decided to open Silver Fern Glamping and welcome guests to come and share our little slice of heaven that we share with our horses, two dogs and Deniz the Cat. As for the Name.... Shaun originally grew up in New Zealand so is very much a Kiwi at heart and instantly felt like Wales was the closest he had ever felt to being back in the land of the long white cloud hence the name Silver Fern.

Shepherd's Hut - Hart Shepherd's Hut (Pet Friendly)Feb 2024

Absolutely fantastic. Couldn't have asked for nicer hosts without being at all intrusive. Everything within the hut was meticulously thought out and catered for. It was clean, warm and inviting. It was also dog friendly and peaceful.

Amazing place

Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Huts (Pet Friendly)Apr 2023

We stayed for two nights in one of the dog friendly shepherd's huts and we had the most amazing time at Silver Fern Glamping. We had everything we needed and it was luxurious. Even if you forget anything, everything you need is on the site as they have a small shop with essentials. We star gazed in the bathtub and made some amazing memories here and would definitely come back. The hosts were so lovely and gave us some advice on the lovely places around town.

Site's response

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review, Keira. It really means the world to us. We are so happy you had a good time, it was lovely to meet you both and of course the lovely Rufus. Hope to see you again soon. Sarah and Shaun

Great for peace and quiet and being outdoors. I think the dog enjoyed it as much as we did. Very high standard glamping, beautiful views. Definitely would return.
