About Wigwam Holidays Wigtown
Nestled on a serene beef and sheep farm, this glamping site is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered! It is located near Wigtown, renowned as the National Book Town of Scotland, with plenty to do nearby, including beaches and forests. For those who love hiking and cycling, the Galloway Forest is just a 25 minute drive away, offering exceptional trails and has been designated the first Dark Sky Park outside the USA. Indulge in the perfect blend of comfort and convenience with the glamping options, which can sleep two to five guests. Each is equipped with central gas heating, an ensuite bathroom, a kitchen area with an electric ring hob, a dining table and chairs, cutlery, crockery, and pots/pans. You'll also find a TV, fire pit, and picnic bench to make your stay more enjoyable. There are also five luxury heated four-berth ensuite Wigwam Cabins, four of which boast great electric hot tubs to help guests unwind. Sleeping up to four, the cabin features a double bed, as well as a settee that can be converted into a double bed. There is also a larger Wigwam Lodge that sleeps up to four guests on a double bed and sofa bed for those wanting more space. The family Wigwam Lodge can accommodate up to five, with a double bed, sofa bed and one single bed. This features a hot tub, a little bit of extra space and is wheelchair accessible and has a wet room to accommodate anyone with disabilities. There are also two Galloway Cabins that sleep two, and two that sleep four, each with spacious open plan living. The living area features a dining table, luxury sofa bed, smart TV, and Wi-Fi. Large patio doors lead out to a seating area with a rattan dining set and fire pit, and the bathroom has a dual rainfall shower head and heated towel rail. The double bedroom has a luxury Emma mattress and patio doors to the outside seating area, the four person cabins each have a settee which can be converted in to a double bed. And the hot tub? It's undercover with uninterrupted views of the Galloway Hills, perfect for all-year-round holidays. Guests can enjoy a night in with the TV (Freeview) and DVD player or step outside through the lockable French doors onto a patio complete with a fire pit and BBQ grill. A picnic bench is also provided for al fresco dining. Please note one set of bedding and towels are provided. For additional beds, bedding can be hired, or guests may wish to bring their own sleeping bags. To ensure a comfortable stay, guests should bring their own toiletries, such as soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. A torch or headlamp may also come in handy for exploring the surrounding area at night. All of the accommodations are pet friendly, and up to two of dogs are welcome in each unit.

We stayed at one of the camping pods over the weekend and had such a beautiful relaxing stay, from the cleanliness of the pod to the hot tub we can't fault the accommodation. The pod is obviously small but they have made the most of the space to drawers underneath beds to having everything you need- fridge, electric hob, microwave and kettle. The sky at night is very clear and the animals coming to visit us at the fence it was just stunning! If your thinking of booking you won't regret it, as expected it is a remote location however there is a Sainsbury's around 20 mins drive away but would maybe take supplies to save the trip. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back very soon.

Fantastic stay at Wigtown Wigwam Holidays. Booked for my partners birthday and it was the perfect chilled getaway for us both. The pod was super clean and tidy. Great facilities inside. Hot tub and fire pit outside were great additions. Great value for money. We had an amazing stay and even got the weather to match!
