Beautiful camp site

Lovely big pitch with ample of room . We had pitch 11 which is located right next to the toilet block, infact the front door and our pitch was devived by a tree. If the toilet door was left open we were treated to a 24/7 music which during the night isn’t any fun - we had to get up and go and close the doors.

Was lovely and quiet

We were the only ones here really, except for 1 night there was a campervan. Has everything you need and was clean and maintained.

Nice and tidy little site

A lovely little well kept campsite. The traffic on the road past it was quite busy, but that could have been from a M6 carriage way closure. We only stayed one night, so it may not be like that all of the time.

Lovely and clean very well maintained

Lovely clean and very tidy site. Just off M6, so great for a pit stop when travelling up and down the country. It's also very good location for exploring around Lake Windermere. Host very informative and responsive. Someone was parked in our allocated pitch when we arrived, but the matter was sorted very, very quickly with no fuss. Would definitely stay again :-)

Lovely and peaceful

Lovely, small and peaceful site. Facilities were spotless and grounds were immaculate. Very short walk to a great pub/restaurant as well. Would stay again and would recommend 👌🏼

Great little site

Neat, tidy and well laid out. Hard standing had plenty of space and was flat. Electric hook up posts could be better identified as another motorhome was hooked up to our post. We had hired our motor home and it didn't come with a tank to catch the grey waste water and outlet was underneath. Other sites we stayed at had somewhere to drive over to empty. Don't know if you were allowed to empty on the hard standing as it was gravel or if there was somewhere to drive over, but not indicated anywhere. Site is located between 2 roads, so there's noise, but didn't notice it while sleeping. Facilities are basic, but more than adequate as only a wee site. Was perfect for what we needed for a 1 night stay. There were a lot of camping pods, which we didn't stay in, so can't make any comments on them.

Easy self check in, clean and safe

The camping park has been easy to enter with self check in with code provided up on arrival. Showers with no additional extra charge. Toilets tidy and clean with additional toilet paper. Great to highlight the fact that additional facility with a washing machines, sinks with washing up liquids was provided. Just wish that the WiFi could be stronger as we couldn't connect due to weak signal.

Small and sheltered

I have to admit, I thought the pictures on the listing only showed only a fraction of the campsite but nope, it was just very small. The camping area is surrounded by high bushes, this made the camp really dark. Sadly no views of the countryside - no views. Although this sheltered our van, it unfortunately didn't dull the noise of the fairly busy road just on the other side. Though small, there was space for around 10-12 vans with only one gents, one ladies and one disabled use shower. The showers were reasonable, with temp control and always clean, but with no shelving or seating, it's always a bit of a faff. There's plenty to see and do within reach of the site (by car) so we really only used the site as a base - to sleep. So, the site suited us well enough this time.

Quiet, very clean quick response to any queries

Very easy to book and site small and quiet. Near road which is noisy daytime but quiet at night. Great location for Lancaster, Morecambe, coast and lakes. Questions answered really quickly when I texted and helpful, which was excellent as there is limited site presence by staff. Will recommend to my family who have campervans.

Good base, convenient to motorway

Site was smaller than most but it was refreshing not to be packed in. Loved the music in the facilities block. Only 4 stars as no chemical or grey waste option and this was our last stop before home. Adjacent to road but did not detract from our stay. Greenland village site with activities and Inn within walking distance. Would recommend.

Beautiful site

Fantastic site very clean and tidy, showers and toilets very clean. Pitches a good size. Nice walk down the road to the pub, the road is busy, but it's fine as long as you're careful. There's a farm shop across the road with garden centre. Would definitely go again.

Really pleasant stay, highly recommend

We had a really lovely stay at Low Greenlands Camp Site. I could not fault the pod at all which we stayed it, great facilities, very clean and overall we loved it. The site itself was pleasant, and well maintained, we had a very good sized patch of grass next to our pod (number 7) for our dog to play on, on her long lead. Can’t comment of the shower/toilet facilities as we didn’t use them. The road the site is on is quite busy therefore expect to hear traffic when your outside, but this didn’t bother us too much as we couldn’t hear it on a night. We spent the day in Windermere which was only a 30 minute drive away. There is a pub only a 5/10 minute walk away but no path to walk on so you will find yourself walking along the grass verge but this is no fault of the site. We would definitely come back to this site and would highly recommend it (:

Really nice time

We had a really nice time staying at Low Greenlands Park. A calm and nice area, a must have to have a car to get around. The only thing we found disappointing was that the kitchen had very little cooking equipment available. Only a small pot and a frying pan so it was a bit challenging to cook dinner for two. We also wish there were some basic spices lying around but other than that, we are very pleased with our stay.

Nice site

Nice site very clean & tidy. Toilets & shower clean and all working. Our pitch 9 was a small pitch, we had to park on grass or would have stopped pitch 8 getting to theirs. Wasn't a problem though, just a small pitch. Others looked a lot better for space. There's grass to the side of the gate you enter, we used that for our dog to have a quick run around, plenty of bins around. We used this site as a base and it worked out well. You can sometimes hear the traffic but it wasn't too bad at all.
