About the site
A pretty, family friendly site set in the heart of the Forest of Dean, ideal for a tranquil getaway in the great outdoors and perfectly located for exploring the Wye Valley. Watch from your pitch as deer roam around the site, and enjoy peaceful woodland views. The site has a great range of accommodation options to choose from. With spacious pitches for tents and tourers on grass or hardstanding with the option of electric, suitable for vehicles measuring 8m x 5m. There is also a rally field for school groups and rallies, as well as the option of seasonal pitches. If you don't fancy bringing a tent, there are also five camping pods with beautiful views over the Forest of Dean, simply choose between furnished or unfurnished. The furnished pods have a triple bunk and single trundle, lighting, electric and a heater. You will need to bring your own bedding and camping essentials. There are also three ready camp safari tents, sleeping six across two bedrooms, with a kitchen and dining area, as well as four furnished bell tents sleeping up to four. During the summer months, there are a range of onsite activities, great for all the family. Guests can enjoy easy access to a wide variety of forest walks and cycling trails in the Forest of Dean, with exclusive discounts for campers on many of the local attractions. Sorry, campfires are not allowed. Charcoal only BBQs are permitted as long as they are raised from the ground. These must be extinguished by 10pm. Dogs are welcome with a maximum of three per pitch, and two in camping pods for an extra cost.

What time is check-in and check out at Bracelands Campsite?
For camping and touring, you're welcome to arrive at Bracelands Campsite from noon until 8pm. Departure is due before 11am on your last day. For glamping, arrival is between 3pm and 8pm, and departure is due by 10am on your last day.
Just be aware that there is no vehicle access once the gates are locked at 10:30pm, and arrivals are not accepted once the gates are locked. If you do arrive back at the site after 10:30pm you'll need to leave your vehicle in the lane and walk back onto site. The gates re-open at 7:30am.
Is Bracelands Campsite dog friendly?
Yes, up to three dogs may join you at Bracelands Campsite. Please just make sure they're kept on a lead at all times and not left unattended. Please note that breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.
Does Bracelands Campsite allow BBQs and campfires?
Charcoal, gas or electric BBQs are allowed at Bracelands Campsite but must be raised off the ground. Sorry, open fires are not permitted.

What is the check-in/check out process at Bracelands Campsite?
When you arrive at Bracelands Campsite, guests will need to head to reception to check-in. On the day of your departure, you will just need to make sure you leave no rubbish behind and check out by the allocated time. For those staying in glamping accommodation, a security deposit of £100 will be requested on arrival and will be released once the unit has been cleaned and checked after your departure.

If you are travelling via Symonds Yat Rock over Huntsham bridge B4432, it has a very narrow single track road and a gradient incline, making it unsuitable for large RV's, Motorhomes and difficult for those towing caravans. Vehicles over 7.5 T are also prohibited on this road.
