About the site
The setting is 80 acres of Whitlingham Country Park, this site is brilliantly located for enjoying the Broads National Park and the historic city of Norwich. Pitches are spacious and spread over two fields. One field is car-free and in the other one car can park by your tent. For glampers, there is the choice between boutique bell tents, spacious yurts, cosy shepherd's huts, railway carriages, glamping cabins and even treehouses! Bell tents and yurts are a great alternative to camping sleeping up to six. Whilst the shepherd's hut sleeps three with a double and single bed with a cosy wood burning stove. The stylish mezzanine family cabin sleeps up to six and has a kitchenette, ensuite toilet and living area! If you're looking for something a little more unique the site has canopy treehouses, sleeping four and equipped with an ensuite, kitchen, double bed and pull out bed with all bedding and towels provided. There are also two railway carriages available which sleep four and include a kitchen area, decking and a fire ptit! Everyone has access to excellent facilities including a wash-up area and the onsite shop. Nearby in the country park, you'll find lovely walks around the lakes and an Outdoor Education Centre with plenty of adventurous outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking and also a dry ski slope. Trowse village is a short walk away with lots of eateries and the city of Norwich is just a short drive from the site. During the summer months the site has pop up caterers for ease.

Camping and campervans are welcome all year, as well as stays in the railways carriages and woodland dens. The bell tents are available from May to September and yurts from May to October.

Dogs..
We love well behaved dogs. One dog per pitch is permitted with the appropriate fee paid - please add at the time of booking. Dogs must be kept under close control at all times. Please clear up after your dog and dispose of the waste in the nearest bin, no foot flicking!
Parking...
All vehicles must display a valid parking pass whether in the car park or field. On arrival please register your car with us and we will make sure you are registered to use the car park. Failure to do so could result in a fine from a third party, which you will be liable for.
Noise...
We are a super chilled out family site so amplified music and generators are not allowed at any time. We ask for quiet enjoyment after 10.30pm and reserve the right to require you to leave the site without refund if your behaviour breaches this Camping Code and is upsetting our guests or staff
Visitors..
The number of people at your pitch must not exceed the number booked for. We are usually unable to accept day guest due to site capacities however there is plenty of public areas within the country park to meet. Please contact us in advance of your stay with any special requirements. Unfortunately if you are found to have unauthorised guests at your pitch you may be asked to leave without refund.
On leaving...
Please leave your pitch or glamping accommodation clean and tidy when you leave. We reserve the right to make additional charges if supplementary cleaning is necessary for our next guests.
Complaints...
Please let us any problems immediately so we can resolve any issues during your stay with us. We want you to have the BEST stay! It is very difficult for us to resolve issues once you have left the site
Fires & BBQs...
Open fires in raised fire-pits and raised, sturdy BBQ's are welcome. Disposable, single use BBQs are not allowed on site.
Waste...
Please separate your recycling and glass and place in the bins on the car park. We cannot dispose of broken camping equipment/airbeds/electrical items or tents. These need to be taken home with you.
We do not allow water balloons/Chinese lanterns or fireworks on site due to debris

Green Bags - Paper, metal, hard plastic
Glass - in glass bins around site
Black Bags - landfill (everything else)
Please take any broken camping equipment home with you.
The filling of paddling pools etc is not permitted on site
