VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2025

5 stars for all of it, because what they promise is what you get. A beautiful big pitch, at a working farm. I was there alone the first night, with one neighbour in a tent the next. So it was very quiet, of course. Nice view of the river and many stars to be seen on a clear night. 45 minutes walk from booktown Hay-on-Wye, via a route recommended to me at check-in. I had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

Wonderful camping adventure!

Bell Tent - Sunset Paradise Bell TentAug 2025

We booked with Digeddi once I had decided I wanted to spend my birthday in Hay on Wye! As a family of 4, we didnt have any experience of camping, so glamping was the only option! We arrived on bank Holiday Monday, and were checked in promptly and handed the key for the bathroom! On arrival to the tent, we were pleasantly surprised by the environment. The bell tent was spacious with the beds made up for us all - proper double mattress and two air beds, proper pillows and duvets and blankets! There was a storage ottoman containing all of the cooking utensils. There were also seat pads for outside, and cushions to keep comfortable inside. The homely environment made it easy to settle in. Outside, we had access to our own table, BBQ, and fire pit. We didn't use the cooking facilities and utensils as we ate out quite a lot! The table was under a gazebo and there was also solar lights around the tent for the evenings. The tent was comfortable throughout our stay and we would recommend it to anyone who may want a camping style holiday without buying all of the kit! The bathroom was a short walk away, about 500m. Although, we had access to the general toilet and shower block. Having the sunset lodge meant we had our own bathroom! A converted horse trailer including a lovely, powerful shower, toilet and sink! This was such a nice luxury with the children too! It meant we could leave our toiletries there and it was only us using it! The site is a working farm it seems, with horses, goats and dogs! The family were lovely if we approached for anything and were on site to offer advice for where to go! On the site, there was also access to the Wye river where people were using their canoes and kayaks, but it did mean the boys could paddle! We had a wonderful stay at Diggedi and we look forward to returning. The only reason we have done 4 stars for location is due to the access of the site. Although only 5 min drive from Hay, it was too busy a road to try and walk there, and the lodge was on the other side of a busy road so a bit of fast traffic noise, but not enough to keep us away! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to those that want a bit of an adventure break!

Lovely location and friendly hosts

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Lovely location and very rustic, hosts very friendly and helpful. Love wildlife and rustic camping, but with a little bit of tidying up the site and expanding facilities, could be amazing. Was very peaceful, which is massive win vs more ordered and packed sites.
