About Sunny Pooh Corner
This relaxing, independent and family run site is a 10 minute walk from the village of Ashwater and offers plenty of space with a couple of pitches and some chic glamping. It's easy to pull up thanks to good road access. Once there, you'll find far reaching views from every serviced grass pitch, each offering both electric and water. You can light up a BBQ, stargaze of an evening and enjoy lots of space on this one acre site. For those looking to have a glamping adventure there's a chic pod cabin and cosy shepherd's hut on site, each with its own en-suite facilities. Although this site doesn't have specific facilities for kids, it does welcome families and there are lots of family friendly attractions in driving distance. The site keep a set of friendly horses and the long grass is home to lots of enticing wildlife. Dogs (on leads) are welcome.
The site offers a clean shower and toilet for guests. Glamping guests have their own self contained facilities.
The local village (10 minute walk) includes a good pub, food shop and an attractive village green.
Fishing, golf and watersports are available in the wider area.

Really great 3 day stay, Amanda who runs the site was very friendly and helpful. Large pitches, small, quiet site with friendly occupants. Toilet/shower was clean and well stocked. Drinking water tap on every pitch. Great location for exploring the area.

What an amazing find! This little spot is one of the most beautiful, well kept and welcoming campsites that we've been to yet. The hosts are just amazing, so friendly and helpful. The site is so well landscaped, well looked after and so pretty too. Myself and my husband visited in our campervan with our dog Zeus (who also loved it) and loved the concept of the Winnie the Pooh theme, so cute! The location is fab, with the lake nearby, Bude etc around 30 minutes drive away. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay here.

Things to do on site and in the Beaworthy area
Bude is a half hour drive away and well worth the trip for its excellent beach, surfing, places to eat and buzzing atmosphere. Bude also includes opportunities for fishing, archery, a dip in a sea pool and much more.
An easy 10 minute drive will also take you to Roadford Lake where you can take a scenic stroll or make a splash with some kayaking! You might round that off with a tour around the local vineyard and a chance to discover their fascinating process.
Within a half hour you can also be in Dartmoor, enjoying top walking routes and some incredible landscapes.
