Tros Y Waen Holiday Park is a peaceful and secluded site in North Wales, just five miles from the foot of Snowdon and the Menai Bridge. Set in 15 acres of woodland with a pond and stream, this well-maintained site boasts a camping field for tents and electric hardstanding pitches for campervans. Close to the beaches of Anglesey and the popular Llyn Peninsula, it's the perfect location to explore North Wales.

This is a wonderful campsite and the staff are very friendly. Any questions we had they were able to help with and they even recommended local places to visit and/or get supplies. They were happy to chat when they weren't too busy and made us feel welcome. Camping in the field gives nice views of the hills, which look great early in the morning as the sun rises, and the campsite itself has a charm to it as well. The facilities are well looked after and clean. The showers warm up quickly and stay warm, which can be nice on the chillier mornings! The location is great, as it is fairly central to everything you could want to see in North Wales. Anglesey is only a short drive away, as is Llandudno. Even closer is Caernarfon which has a wonderful castle that is worth exploring, and Llanberis is just down the road with its stunning lake. We can whole heartedly recommend staying here and have no doubt that we will return to stay again some time in the future.

A great campsite. The facilities were clean and the site staff were friendly. The location was great, only a 10 min drive to Snowdon if you are wanting to hike it, lots of local beaches and a 3 minute drive from a garage if you need supplies. And the site offered fresh free range eggs each morning! Would definitely use again :)

Me, my son and father-in-law camped here for 2 nights. The owners were exceptionally helpful, friendly and always on hand if needed. The site was immaculate and everything was clean and tidy, including the toilets and shower block. Location is within easy touching distance for Llanberis, Caernarfon, Bangor, Anglesey and Llandudno, to name just a few. Will certainly be going back to this campsite, thank you.

The camp site is lovely. It's very easy to find and very centrally located. The whole site is kept clean and tidy and the bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The owners were lovely. Very helpful and friendly and they supply firepits and logs and even fresh laid eggs. Overall the site is highly recommended.

Visited with the mrs and 2 huskies. Great views, great facilities that were extremely clean, extremely friendly owners. Firepit and cheap bags of firewood available, not sure what else you could want.

Lovely stay. Owners friendly, informative about local area. Campsite clean, well maintained. Soap, hand sanitisers, toilet roll kept well stocked. Toilets really clean. Indoor washing up facility really clean. I thoroughly recommend. Great location for high peaks, low rambles, coast and Anglesey. For those with children- 2 great play areas. I thoroughly recommend.

Hands down the best campsite I've ever stayed at. We used this camp as we were climbing Snowdon, 10 minute drive to our path. Very very clean and so friendly. We will definitely be going back!

Incredible stay and host so helpful with any queries. Stunning location with beautiful views, spacious pitches with lots of room to set up camp. Facilities close by and kept to brilliant standards making it really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to everyone and will be returning as soon as possible.

Stayed for two nights as base for a walk up Snowdon, which was an easy 15 min drive away. Great facilities, very clean. Lovely site and great sunset. Very friendly owners. Would stay again.

We arrived to be welcomed by the host on the drive who gave us our pitch for the weekend. The toilets and showers were clean whenever I visited them and the site is level and well drained. What more do you want?

Lovely, central location to many sites and activities. The site is immaculately maintained and the facilities modern, clean and tidy. A real gem, we shall be revisiting for many more visits. Fabulous hosts who were always on hand and extremely helpful. They key snapped off in our roof box and they helped out with a drill and tools so we could open it and use for the return journey. Really can not recommend highly enough!
