Glamping Pod - Willow Ensuite Glamping Pod (Dog Friendly)Jul 2026

I found this place by chance, looking for glamping in the Ross on Wye area. We liked the look of the photos and the price was very reasonable, so we went ahead and booked it, hoping that it would be as good as it looks. It absolutely did not disappoint. The environment is lovely, so peaceful and scenic. The facilities are fantastic, clean and all in good working order. The pod had everything we could need, including cleaning bits, extra charcoal for the fire pit, camping chairs and some games & binoculars to get a closer look at the wildlife around. We saw and heard lots of deer during our stay :-) The area was well enclosed for our dog, and we appreciated that only one cabin is dog friendly, so there was no worry about how our dog would get on with another guests. Our two children aged 5 and 11 absolutely loved the place! The bunk beds were an exciting feature, they spent lots of time playing on the football area and again, we felt reassured that the area was enclosed so we knew they were safe. Buckholt House Farm was the perfect place for a peaceful family get away. We spent happy mornings and evenings outside, toasting marshmallows and having late nights listening out for wildlife. The location was brilliant, with shops close by and attractions within 20 minutes such as Forest of Dean, Perrygrove Railway and Symonds Yat. There was so much to do, but we most enjoyed relaxing at the site. We will absolutely be back and for longer next time!

Glamping Pod - Walnut Ensuite Glamping PodJul 2025

We will definitely be considering Buckholt for another trip. The accommodation provides excellent well kept facilities with amazing views and plenty to do nearby. The cute pods are cosy, with everything you need and surprisingly spacious. The fire pits are a huge bonus with everything you need provided, a great experience for my daughter. The selection of outdoor games makes for great fun too. We felt very welcomed by the hosts and they were very helpful when we had queries or needed a recommendation for a chippy. There's plenty to do nearby and while we found the site very easily it feels secluded, with stunning views down an empty valley.
