Clear filters Very quiet, great location
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 We wanted somewhere close to a park and ride. When we arrived, it was even better, as there was a bus stop 15 minutes away by foot. We used this to get to York Central and the railway station, where we had excursions to Harrogate and Knaresborough.
The campsite also had a special deal with a local taxi firm - a fixed £12 return from York. Definitely a great place to stay to explore, without the stress of driving and parking and a peaceful nights sleep.
Amazing
Glamping Cabin - Studio Pod Cabins Sep 2023 We had an amazing stay, everyone at the site was friendly and approachable. The pod was clean and had a helpful guide about to how use the facilities. We would love to stay again.

Great weekend stay
Glamping Cabin - Studio Pod Cabins Jul 2023 Brought my grandchildren for a weekend away in the countryside they loved it.
They thought the cabin was great nice and clean and a bed coming out of the wall was amazing to them.They loved playing football in the park and the games room.
Will come again, great relax and recharge.

Lovely, quiet break
Glamping Cabin - Studio Pod Cabins Jul 2023 Stayed there for 4 nights. Very clean and cosy cabin. Nice and quiet campsite surrounded by trees and wildlife. Quite close to a park and ride into York and a Tesco to grab food to cook.
The bed folds down from the wall and has a very comfortable mattress. Comes with an ensuite as well, and a lovely warm shower. Has an outside deck which we only got to use once sadly due to the weather.
Would definitely recommend. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 Excellent, quiet site. Very clean and nice facilities. 1 mile walk to the nearest pub, but excellent food when you get there. It helped it was a nice night, which made it a very pleasant walk. Buses were available close by to get you into York.
Quick stay as my son has school Monday

A warm welcome on arrival. The facilities were clean and tidy. The Nags Head is a pleasant walk on a quiet road if you fancy a pint and good food.
We walked into York and used public transport to get back without any problems.
Would stay here again if we are the area.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2023 A well-kept site, convenient for visiting York and surroundings. Easy access to York by bicycle or by car, using the nearby park and ride. The local bus into York runs hourly, but doesn't keep to the timetable.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 Great little site in a great location for York and Leeds. Very secure with passcodes per caravan in and out with automatic gates.
Very safe for children to be running around, playing in the playground, games room and football pitch.
