Colliford Lake Park Campsite is, a tent only site, tucked into the atmospheric beauty of Bodmin Moor, where you can look out over a stunning lake, roam the moors and explore incredible Dark Skies. Campfires and BBQs are encouraged as they are a key part to any good back-to-basics break and there is plenty of good fishing.
About the site
Owned by a husband and wife team, this site is a lovely section of moorland, ideal for low impact wild camping. The site is centrally located between Cornwall's enticing north and south coasts, just 40 minutes in the car from gems like Looe and Padstow. It's all down to the fact that although you're in a remote location which feels like it couldn't be further from the urban world, it's also only a few minutes from the A30. You'll find 20 acres of space on site with unmarked pitches and private direct access to the 1,000 acre lake. All of the unmarked grass pitches are non-electric. In this simple, relaxed space you have freedom to be yourself, but the owners are still on hand if you need anything - just ask!
Open from 5 April to 1 November
There are 20 accommodation options on-site

20 x Lakeview Grass Pitches
Pitches are situated on a headland which has two natural levels. These offer a choice of semi wild and really wild camping experiences.
