A note from the site themselves...
We're all about embracing the environment here at Gresham Hall Estate. Our lovely house, every single brick of it, was made right here on our estate. We've carried that local-first, eco-friendly spirit into the 21st century. From reusing hot tub water to pampering our flowers to saying no to single-use plastic, we're doing our bit for the planet!
Scottish Fine Soaps, supply our toiletries and our honey, jam, and marmalade are all locally sourced. Even the sugarbeet and peas we grow end up in local factories, keeping our carbon footprint minimal.
And here's the cherry on top - we've got a biomass boiler that keeps you warm and gives you plenty of hot water, all while being kind to our planet. So, prepare for an eco-friendly, warm, and toasty stay with us. See you soon, Georgy
Cosy 5m bell tents furnished with a proper double bed. Linen and towels provided, and two optional blow up mattresses. Complete with bunting, rustic chic decorations, a log burning stove, BBQ and basic cooking equipment.
Nice little glamping site.
Situated in a small field perfect for looking at the stars on the clear night. Facilities are good the showers are warm and clean and so are the toilets bell tent is set out beautifully, but could do with somewhere to put your clothes and hang your coat.
The host was not on site, so if you had any queries, you had to contact her via text or call her. Unfortunately, the phone reception and an Internet data is very poor in the area, so this was not ideal if you were a late arrival, as you cannot collect any wood or charcoal without a code, and if you could not contact her, these benefits were were unavailable.
This is a great site for a couple of nights of relaxation. The area is only about 2 miles away from the nearest coast.
Site's response
It was great to meet you both on your arrival at our site so I could show you to your tent and the facilities, Clare. I'm glad that you had a great time and I hope you enjoyed your welcome pack full of local products. Best wishes, Georgy.

Bell Tent - Furnished 5m Bell TentsAug 2023
This was our first experience of Glamping and one we really enjoyed. Our tent was spacious, clean, well equipped with nice touches like hot water bottles. The outside area was sufficient for our stay with a BBQ, fire pit and picnic bench. Consideration might be given to providing a soft seating outside option.
We ordered the breakfast pack and found this disappointing value. We were anticipating farm produce not supermarket products! The only other disappointment was the lack of hot water when washing up.
However, our stay was very enjoyable with wonderful starlit skies in the evening and owls hooting from the surrounding trees, very peaceful. Thank you.
Site's response
I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your stay, Peter. I'm glad that you liked the hot water bottles and hope that you found the electric blanket on the double bed too. We would love to be able to add in soft seating outside and every year we do add something to the campsite, this year it was the climbing frame and other groundwork necessary for the smooth running of the site.
I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy the breakfast pack. The eggs were freshly laid the morning you arrived by our own small flock of chickens, the bread was from a local bakery, the jams, honey and marmalade all made locally for our estate - you would have seen the personalised branding. I did get the milk and bacon from the supermarket as it wasn't a day that Milk & More, who we usually use, deliver and I wanted them to be as fresh as possible for you. I hope you enjoyed the local Norfolk Tea too and the fun slogans on the sugar packets!
I'm so sorry about the lack of hot water when washing up - I do ask that people let me know straight away so that we can fix it immediately. When I checked at changeovers it was nice and hot so perhaps it wasn't run for long enough.
We are so pleased you got to enjoy the glorious big Norfolk skies, magnificent especially with a clear sky at night.
