Great location, very peaceful, apart from the odd moo. Would score it 5 star across the board, but could do with some more toilets and showers up on the camping area.

Thanks Russell for the nice review. There are 2 more shower/toilet blocks, one as you enter the site and one the static site but perhaps you didn't see those 😁

Worth every penny

Fantastic site, good facilities, children enjoyed the animals.

Gorgeous pod

I couldn't have asked for more at this site. Celia was incredibly welcoming and the pod was exactly what I needed. Perfect nights under the starts and days by the beaches!

Amazing!

Everything was just spot on. Facilities were outstanding. We have a young family so green space for them to play was great. Large pitch size. Don't look any further for camping in the north of Wales!

Peace and tranquillity

Beautiful setting with views all round. Nice and friendly site with a relaxed vibe. Walking distance to all local amenities and well situated for exploring North Wales. The pod was well equipped and well situated for the best views. The host was always on hand and friendly. Planning to come back if they'll have us!!

Lovely campsite!

Really nice location, easy to find (satnav took you straight there) and 15 minute drive to the beach. We really appreciated the nice toilets and showers and the communal fridge was a godsend in the heatwave!! Overall a lovely campsite :) It was also very peaceful and quiet in the evenings.

1st visit

Lovely place, very friendly and greeted when we arrived. 10 min walk into the village with a few pubs with lovely food. Super clean, excellent showers. Would defo return and recommend to friends.

A really friendly, welcoming and clean site

Lovely site, great views and walks and near to Rhuddlan town where everyone we met was friendly and kind. Great cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways! On the site, the toilets and showers were new and immaculate and there was plenty of space for each Motorhome etc. The owner was very helpful and we loved our stay. We will return.

Well kept, clean and tidy

Received a text on journey with directions and pitch number. Nice cut fields with plenty of space between pitches. Close to Rhuddlan village with pubs and shops. Facilities basic but clean and tidy. Owner pleasant who comes around most days. Lovely quiet location away from roads. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing find!

So glad I found this child friendly site. The owners are very friendly and the kids loved being taken by the owners to feed the farm animals. Lovely location by the castle which the kids enjoyed exploring - half price entry if staying on this site, which is a bonus!

An excellent site, great flat pitches, spacious and friendly. The facilities are new and spotless and the owners are very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely campsite, owners are very friendly!

We loved the site! It's on a working farm so waking up to the animals in the morning is nice, the owners are really friendly and welcoming! The village is about a 5 minute walk away with plenty of places to eat and pick up essentials, and plenty of nice walks for the dog too. The owners even gave us a discount voucher to get into the castle nearby and also a discount voucher for the pub in the village. We will be staying again soon for sure!

Abbey Farm as a cycle base

I loved my stay at Abbey Farm. It has a great location (particularly for cycling) and has fab amenities. I would confidently recommend this friendly, well run site to all. Interestingly, my Mr Kipling apple pie tarts mysteriously disappeared from inside a zipped tent on one occasion, and the culprit left the aluminium wrappers all around and the door open. My neighbours had spotted the intruder in action (a four legged farm worker) and chased it away... You have been warned! Made me laugh.

Brilliant!

Recently booked for seven nights but stayed for an extra two nights as we enjoyed it so much. The location is brilliant. Total countryside but everything you need within walking distance including a great little pub called the castle. The facilities were great and Celia the owner is great. Very helpful and we will definitely be back....Thank you Celia!
