About the site
The ultimate glamping, kayaking and lodge getaways in Yorkshire, the site is nestled in the heart of the countryside, ideal for families, couples and groups to relax and reconnect in nature. Come and see for yourself and choose your perfect spot for your lakeside glamping holiday at this special hideaway in rural East Yorkshire, just 15 minutes from the coast. Glamping tent accommodation includes two safari tents (sleeping 4-6) and spacious safari lodges (sleeping up to 7 or 10), alongside two yurts (sleeping 2 to 4), all with proper beds, cosy bedding, blankets, cushions, log-burning stoves, sofas, fridges and kettles, as well as picnic tables and benches right outside with your BBQ. For the summer months, there's an additional glamping bell tent, sleeping up to six people in two double beds and a smaller double sofa bed. Included you'll have a fridge kettle and lighting. Outside you'll have your own fire pit and BBQ. There are three beautiful lodges with wood-fired hot tubs, set slightly away from the main glamping area, on a separate lake. Two of the lodges are for two, perfect for a romantic getaway for anniversaries, birthdays or just-because! One of the lodges is slightly larger, sleeping up to six, perfect for a group of friends or family getaway. If you can pull yourselves (and the kids!) away from your cosy canvas base then within a 15-30 minutes drive are a number of stunning East Yorkshire beaches (Hornsea, Fraisthorpe, Bridlington) and 30 minutes from the jaw-dropping Flamborough Head with its many coves, rockpools and seabird sanctuaries. Kayaks (with all equipment and safety items) for adventuring can be hired for the duration of your stay. Firepits with unlimited logs for cosy evenings toasting marshmallows, which is a must when 'camping'.
Open from 29 March to 3 November.
