About the site

Tucked away within the unspoilt landscape of the Rame Peninsula, this historic touring site was once part of the area's coastal defences. Today, you'll find historic cannons overlooking cliffs, along with fascinating architecture. Spend days splashing in the heated indoor swimming pool, let little ones play in the children's pool, or keep active in the gym. When it's time for the coast, the sandy beach is ten minutes away via steps. You can even book a lesson at Adventure Bay Surf School for surfing or paddleboarding before heading back for a meal at the onsite Fort Inn. Tourers can choose from 16 fully serviced gravel pitches (6m x 5m), each with a 16 amp hook up, water supply and an adjacent parking space. A separate Elsan disposal point and shower and toilet facilities are located nearby. There are also smaller, non electric hiker pitches for two-man tents for those travelling on foot and two fully serviced grass pitches. A regular bus service stops outside the site, with routes to Torpoint and Plymouth. Please note that the site's facilities are located in the Meadows area and may be a short walk from some pitches. You're welcome to bring up to two dogs along for the adventure, too. BBQs must be raised off the ground. Open fires and fire pits are not permitted. Sea views can be enjoyed from designated lookout points around the park rather than from the touring pitches themselves.

Whitsand Bay Fort Holiday Village is open from 01/01 to 25/12. Pitches from £28/night for 2 people.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Gravel PitchesJun 2026

The food in the restaurant was really good, the pitches for motor homes and caravans were a little to snug for us personally. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower room were small and if more that 2 people in the shower/ toilet area is was a little to close. The beach is close and is an amazing beach

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Gravel PitchesMay 2026

Really lovely spot, The Sea is within walking distance and it's stunning, you need to be quite able to cope with the terrain in places, but worth the effort. Our pitch was away from the main entrance, which made it a very quiet and peaceful place.. Bar was a great place to relax and have a drink. The bus service was great, right outside the site. The only thing is the facilities are quite a way from the pitch we were on , we were aware of this before we arrived so planned for this especially at night.

Excellent facilities

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Gravel PitchesDec 2025

We stayed for one night whilst travelling and wished we'd booked for longer. The Inn did great food and toilets were clean. All pitches were in good condition and the fort was great to explore. Will definitely stay here again, when we're next in the area.
