Hickling Campsite is a beautiful getaway for tent campers, nestled in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, as well as a stunning retreat for glampers looking for a pod or shepherd's hut break.

About the site

Hickling campsite offers you the chance to enjoy the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Bring your tent and pitch up on the site's large grassy field which is close to the facilities - meaning you won't have far to go for a morning shower. Believing that campfires are an essential part of outdoor living, the site offer braziers and firewood for campers wishing to toast their marshmallows! Those looking for luxury can choose between a fabulous break in the pod, or choose from a selection of bespoke shepherd's huts equipped with beds and bedding. Well behaved pets are welcome, but should be kept on a lead while onsite.

The Hickling Hut camp shop onsite is full to the brim with delicious, locally sourced produce and fresh coffee. The shop has a range of Swannington Farm to Fork meats to keep your barbecues stocked with high-quality and homegrown flavour as well as fresh pastries, breads and cakes, locally produced ice creams, eggs and plenty of yummy choices for your beach picnic from sausage rolls and Scotch eggs to pork pies and cream teas.

In Hickling Broad you'll find two lovely local pubs.

The coast is just 4 miles away, with beaches including Sea Palling, Waxham, Eccles-by-the-Sea and Happisburgh.

Cromer, the Norfolk Coast AONB and Blakeney National Nature Reserve are all within an hour's drive.

Popular local activities include cycling, boat hire, sailing, bird watching and swimming.
