VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesJul 2023

Excellent site in a fantastic location for exploring many local towns and especially well located for access to the Ingleton Waterfall Walk, which is spectacular. Settle, Skipton and Kirkby Lonsdale all accessible by nearby hail and ride bus. Campsite itself is one of the best we've stayed on with immaculately maintained pitches and facilities. Had a nice chat with the owner who was very helpful with advice on the local area. Will definitely return.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a fabulous review. Glad the weather improved for your stay and wishing you both many more happy travels in your new campervan. Sandra.

Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2023

42 pitches, all hardstanding and about 50% full serviced. Site is immaculate and the owners have obviously given a lot of thought to the pitches and facilities. Stunning views and a fully secure dog field which was a real benefit with our Houdini hound. Great pub, just a 19-minute walk from the site and plenty to see and do in the area.

Site's response

Many thanks for your lovely review - we love the title! So pleased that you enjoyed your ten days here earlier this month, we agree there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Sandra & Alan

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJun 2023

We chose this site because it was close to the Ingleton Waterfall Trail. Booking and check-in was all contactless with the pitch being assigned by email. This all worked very well. The site appears to be relatively newly laid out. The pitches all have plenty of room with hedging arranged very cleverly providing privacy. The hardstanding gravel pitch was flat and edged with border stones onto immaculate grass lawns. All excellent. The toilet and shower block was superb. Again it seemed new and was kept very clean. Plenty of showers, toilets and sink cubicles. Piped radio music in the block. Dish washing and laundry room were excellent. Within walking distance was the Country Store (5 mins) where you could get all types of fresh food and frozen food plus gifts. The Marton Arms (15 min walk) is a nice pub. We had a drink there but didn't try the food although it looked good. We did the Waterfall Trail. This is located in Ingleton village (20 min walk to start) The trail is 4.5 miles with some quite strenuous parts in some places. Watch out for the horse flies on the first stage as they do leave a nasty bite. It took us about 4 hours, although it was a very hot day. A lovely site, well worth the money.

Site's response

Wow, what a lovely, helpful review. Thank you for taking the time to write it. We are glad that our site and amenities looked quite new when in fact, they are now in their 10th season. Sorry those pesky horseflies were a nuisance around the Waterfalls Trail during June - I received a couple of nasty bites too! Sandra & Alan.
