place to relax

We had a very relaxed few days. The site is quite remote down very narrow lanes. But, all the same, we loved it there. Showers and toilets kept very clean with lovely hot water, had everything you need. The staff were extremely friendly and lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. The shop was adequate with great coffee and cake if wanted. We had an amazing pitch, very quiet, with cows as our neighbours, who surprisingly, were quite quiet also (and friendly) Fire pits were supplied at no extra cost. We will definitely return.

Pineapple Campsite 3 nights in May 2026

Very pleased to have stayed at Pineapple Campsite during.May half term. Being Adult only meant this did not impact us , a small , friendly , clean and quiet campsite , large pitch , water and electric on the pitch site together with above ground fire pit . Cider Farm 500 yards down narrow track with tap room was a benefit . Would definitely recommend and will return.

Quiet picturesque campsite

Lovely campsite but do make sure you follow owner's instructions as I didn't! Indeed, it was difficult to navigate the long narrow lane up to campsite from the other end as it is well used and reversing was tricky in campervan. Needless to say, I didn't go home that way!

Lovely quite campsite, lovely, helpful staff and clean facilities

Had a lovely bank holiday break. FIrst time on an adults only campsite and it was lovely and peaceful just what we needed everyone was friendly and respectful. The staff(sara) were really friendly and helpful, The location was nice near a little village and not too far from the beach less than 30 minutes drive away. I will definitely return for some peace and quite.

Peaceful, adult only site

3 nights at Pineapple Farm, a peaceful adult only, dog friendly site. This was our 1st trip so hard to compare but we enjoyed our stay and would return. Little on site shop, nice dog walking areas, the orchard was a bit steep but the wildlife area was better. 4 showers and separate toilets in a block, nice hot showers. Only downside was the approach on the lane to the site was very narrow, luckily we didn't meet anything coming the other way. There are business units close to the campsite but as it was a weekend, they were closed. Friendly on site staff. Has Wi-Fi, not fully serviced but has hook up and water, also areas for grass pitches and tents.

You are quite right, we do have a small stretch of narrow lane on the final approach but there are quite a few passing spaces and any locals you might meet are pretty practiced at going backwards when needed. We do hope you'll come back for another stay once you've had the chance to try some others too.

Fantastic

Stumbled on this camp site and I must say what a great stumble 😁 adult only so nice and peaceful if that’s what your looking for - very clean throughout and added extras like fridge , freezer and picnic blankets to borrow - nice little shop has just what you need in case you forget anything - toilets and showers were spotless . Cider farm just 2,553 steps away nice little walk and excellent cider at reasonable price. Will definitely stay again really pleased with the find 😁😁

Lovely stay

Excellent campsite with lovely views. Staff really nice and facilities always clean. Great for bike rides through the quiet country lanes. Weather was great. Beautiful place! Thank you.

Fabulous stay

Perfect stay. Fabulous site shop and lovely coffee to go. Quiet, lovely staff and setup for walks to local pub (25 mins) and even nearer cider bar/orchard.

Easter weekend at Pineapple Farm Campsite

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing campsite during school holidays then look no further. Scrupulously clean, all your basic amenities, like hot showers good washing up area, little shop, wifi signal good, EHU. The views are absolutely gorgeous, staff are friendly and helpful. The campfire was a welcome addition. Short drive to West Bay, 20 minute drive to Chesil Beach. Fabulous!

Looking forward to going back

This is a beautiful site. Pitches well laid out lots of room lovely views. The toilets and showers spotless and very useful washing up area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Many walking trails and very nice cider farm just up the road worth a visit in walking distance. Good pubs for lunch and dinner in the area. We are looking forward to going back.

Lovely site

A great adult only site. Level pitches with drinking water tap's by each pitch. Clean facilities, great little shop that sold drinks and food. Fire pits on every pitch which were well used. Friendly staff. Appreciated the reminder to campers not to fly drones over the site as one had been flown. Would recommend a stay here.

Starry skies

Lovely campsite that allows small groups. Dogs and humans had a great time.. Clear skies and a cosy firepit meant that we had lovely evenings gazing at the stars with really low levels of light pollution. Super friendly staff and a great little shop with supplies.

Friends

We were given a pitch on arrival, but then our friends turned up unplanned! We were able to swap pitches to be beside them, which made for a more enjoyable stay.

A wonderful adults only site

We stayed here for 4 nights, it's not a massive site and it's very well run. There was plenty of space on the pitches, clean toilets and showers. Very friendly and helpful staff. The cider farm just up the lane, is well worth a visit, especially on a Saturday evening, especially in the summer when there is live music and food, plus some great ciders aways.

Tight road but not to far once in, everything has been put in place for a perfect stay

Thank you so much. We are glad you had the perfect stay. As you say, there is a short stretch of narrow lane to get it us but its less than quarter of a mile and it's worth it for the peaceful countryside.

Happy days

Lovely campsite with a small shop but 5 mins down the road, a wonderful farm shop. Adult only lovely pitches, nice and large. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the fire pits because of it being so dry. Wildlife a plentiful.

We are lucky to have Washingpool farm shop just down the road - always a treat. It is a shame we had to stall the use of the firepits during your stay, we love them but weren't sure the parched grass would especially with fresh hay in the next field. Hopefully next time!

Touring Dorset

The walking guides were very good we took advantage of them. The Mexican street food on site was tasty. A good location to visit other coastal towns. Recommend the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth.

Campervan stay

Lovely little dog friendly site with an excellent pitch. Lots of footpaths so great for walking. Campsite provided us with very useful laminated directions to a nearby pub and other interesting walks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only small gripe was, that the shower alternated from cold to boiling hot. Apart from that it was a great stay experience.

Excellent site

Lovely site, tucked away in the middle of nowhere, yet within easy reach of Bridport if you need supplies. Plenty of things to do and see in the vicinity too. The staff were super friendly and the facilities spotlessly clean. We particularly liked the ex-washing machine drums up cycled to firepits - grand idea. Will definitely be back.

Great campsite

Fab position overlooking great views of the Dorset countryside. Staff were very friendly helpful. The toilets and showers were always clean. We used the fridge too which helped us as it was hot and we did not have a refrigerator. We had an electric hook up and water. Only criticism was that the water tap sprayed everywhere. I would definitely visit again next year.

Wonderful relaxing break

Wonderful, adult only, quiet site. Very spacious flat pitches. All very clean and tidy. Lovely hot water for both showers and washing up (don't use too much shampoo or washing up liquid, beautifully soft water). A good base for visiting local beaches, seaside towns and more. Lovely staff very helpful and do a mean bacon sandwich.

Fantastic site

We loved this site! Pitch was great, really pretty views, had plenty of shade when we needed it. All the facilities were kept clean. Our little dog loved the orchard where she could run and play off lead. The shop was an added bonus selling teas and freshly brewed coffees. Would definitely recommend this site.

Brilliant place to stay

Would I stay again? You bet I would! Lovely peaceful place run by really friendly people. The whole place was clean and tidy no rubbish about, grass nice and neat. Showers and toilets cleaned each day.. Only stayed a few nights just wish it was longer.. Thank you.
