Motorhome - Large Electric Grass Pitches (Oak Tree)May 2026

We had a very relaxed few days. The site is quite remote down very narrow lanes. But, all the same, we loved it there. Showers and toilets kept very clean with lovely hot water, had everything you need. The staff were extremely friendly and lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. The shop was adequate with great coffee and cake if wanted. We had an amazing pitch, very quiet, with cows as our neighbours, who surprisingly, were quite quiet also (and friendly) Fire pits were supplied at no extra cost. We will definitely return.

Site's response

Thank you for your kind review. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay with us and made friends with the neighbours! We do have a short stretch of narrow lane on our approach but as you say, well worth it once you get out in the peace and quiet of the countryside. We look forward to welcoming you again.

Large Tent - Large Electric Grass Pitches (Oak Tree)May 2026

Very pleased to have stayed at Pineapple Campsite during.May half term. Being Adult only meant this did not impact us , a small , friendly , clean and quiet campsite , large pitch , water and electric on the pitch site together with above ground fire pit . Cider Farm 500 yards down narrow track with tap room was a benefit . Would definitely recommend and will return.

Site's response

It's so good to hear you plan to come back. Hopefully we are a little haven from the half term hustle and bustle. The cider farm is always a hit with our guests- how lucky we are to have them as neighbours.

Quiet picturesque campsite

VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches (Buttercup)May 2026

Lovely campsite but do make sure you follow owner's instructions as I didn't! Indeed, it was difficult to navigate the long narrow lane up to campsite from the other end as it is well used and reversing was tricky in campervan. Needless to say, I didn't go home that way!

A note from the site themselves...

Pineapple Farm Holidays is a friendly and small site. Our family has lived and worked on the farm for just over 100 years. Our grandparents passed down the farm alongside passing down a love for nature. This is why it's so important for us to protect this piece of Dorset to encourage biodiversity for soil and wildlife health.

Come and relax in this beautiful rural part of Dorset and find out why we want to help look after it. We're working to make our farm a haven for wildlife, with lots of herb lays for pasture and wildflower spots.
