About the site
Located in the 1066 Country, this seven-acre site offers a peaceful stay for families and couples, on the outskirts of Bexhill-on-Sea, and ten minutes from the East Sussex coast. Staying here, you'll be ten minutes from the High Weald National Landscape, ideal for walks, cycling, and historical days out, plus 30 minutes from Eastbourne. Onsite, there are 42 electric grass pitches for tents only, 13 electric hardstandings, and nine fully serviced pitches, for tents, roof tents, trailer tents, caravans, campervans or motorhomes. Please note that electric hook ups are 16 amps and all pitches measure 13m x 11m. There are three camping pods, complete with a double bed, mattress, bedding and towels. Each one sleeps up to two, making them ideal for a couple's getaway. They also have electricity, heating, a kettle, and outside, there are picnic benches, great for dining al fresco. Please be sure to bring cooking equipment, crockery, and your towels too. You can also choose the 5m bell tent, sleeping four, with a double bed, plus two additional twin beds, though only the double bed is made up. Interiors include soft furnishing, bedding, and towels. The site offers a few other glamping options, including a cabin and deluxe lodges. There is a small shop onsite, perfect for picking up any essentials that you may have forgotten. Purchase wine, beers, prosecco, gifts, hampers and dog treats too. Please note that opening times for this can vary. Little ones will also enjoy the play park onsite with a wooden adventure trail. A handy bus stop is just outside the site, providing further connections around the Bexhill area. Up to two dogs are welcome to join you for your holiday. BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised from the ground, but sorry, campfires are not allowed.
