About the site

As one might guess from the name, this site is in a great location for days out at the beach. Within a 15 minute drive, you can find the Witterings, sandy beaches great for watersports, Pagham and Selsey. Campervans, motorhomes and caravans are welcome across the site's three electric grass touring pitches, ten electric hardstandings and one non electric hardstanding touring pitch. Each pitch measures 5m x 10m, has a 10 -16 amp electric hook up and allows up to four or five guests with plenty of space for everyone to have their own peace and quiet. For those who would prefer glamping, the site has three charming shepherd's huts to choose from. Perfect for couples, Delilah sleeps up to two guests in a cosy double bed, with a small kitchenette equipped with a fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, sink and cooking equipment. The larger, Rusty Shepherd's Hut is great for a family getaway, sleeping up to two adults and two children. Inside, you will find a double pull-down bed along with two pod bunk beds. There is also a dining area and a full kitchen with an oven, microwave, cooker and fridge/freezer, so you have everything you need to cook up a tasty full English. Woodie sleeps four, and is complete with a set of double bunks and a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave, there is also a bench for dining. Bedding is provided. Shared shower facilities are nearby. Rusty and Delilah shepherd's hut have their own ensuite shower rooms, Woodie has an ensuite loo and shared shower facilities nearby. For the cooler months, each is also complete with electric and heating. Outside, you will also have your own private patio area with a BBQ and seating, perfect for al fresco dining. The site's handy location means you can spend days discovering different coastal corners, trying out watersports, building sandcastles, paddling and taking walks through the dunes along the shoreline. Being slightly inland means that the site also has the advantage of being surrounded by splendid West Sussex countryside for walks and other outdoor activities, access to the Salterns Way cycle route is only about a five minute ride from the site. You will also have the bonus of there being a pub two minute walk away for a drink and some food at the end of the day! For days out, Chichester is just a ten minute drive away and is full of shops and plenty of attractions to keep you busy. Four-legged friends can also join you for your stay if you're pitching up on one of the touring pitches or in the Woodie and Delilah shepherd's huts, though they are not allowed in Rusty shepherd's hut, sorry.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchesApr 2026

The campsite is great. Roomy and didn't feel crowded at all. Communication with management via WhatsApp was great as well, especially for us campervan newbies. In fact, if you are new to campervan or caravan life then I would highly recommend this campsite as it gives you enough room in the pitches to move around and figure stuff out. Also, electrical hook-ups do not come at extra charge at point of use. The place is generally very peaceful other than the main road being pretty close. The facilities are exceptional. The shower/toilet block is clean and thankfully very warm inside. Overall, it's a great place to stay and we will definitely be back.

Motorhome - Non Electric Hardstanding Touring PitchApr 2026

What a little gem this place is. Not sure we want to write a review because we want to keep it to ourselves 😂 Seriously, the campsite is small and friendly, smart, clean and tidy, with all the facilities. We had the last pitch which did not have electric hook up but as we don't yet have a TV, we managed easily on leisure battery and gas for 2 nights. A seasonal couple were extremely helpful when we didn't think our fridge was firing onto gas. Took the dog on some lovely walks and only 10 mins from the local pub via a walk out the back of the campsite, avoiding a busy road. We will certainly be booking again!
