About the site
Fen End Farm includes 117 acres of fabulous organic farmland, run with all things eco in mind and offering more than enough space to spread out and relax.
Bring your tent and choose from four grass pitches scattered amongst the orchard apple trees. As the parking is in a grass field adjacent to the orchard, wheelbarrows are provided to transport your belongings to your camp.
A campfire by your pitch and a few marshmallows is the perfect way to rustle up an evening snack.
For glampers, take your pick from a wide range of accommodation. Relax in the handcrafted yurt, which has its own king size bed, wood burner and space for five or cuddle up around the fire pit for an evening under the stars.
There are also two traditional bell tents with double beds and a glam tipi with a king size, each with the warmth of a wood burning stove. All include their own fire pit.
Sorry, no dogs allowed here.

A note from the site themselves...
Welcome to our little slice of heaven. We love sharing it with our guests and seeing children running free and feel so lucky that we get to spend our time in this magical space. As organic farmers our green ethos of working with nature is reflected in how we run the campsite.
We allow most of the grass and wildflowers to grow tall over the summer, just mowing the pitches and pathways. This encourages insects and birds, which in turn pollinate the apple trees and keep less helpful beasties in check.
All our electricity is generated on-site from wind and solar power, and we source eco-friendly soaps and cleaning products that biodegrade quickly. We refill these in bulk from local businesses and have been awarded Plastic-Free status for our commitment to eliminating single-use plastics.
As well as guests' reactions to the beauty of the orchard, one of our favourite things is when they tell us their stay has inspired them to make eco changes to their life when they get home.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024
Fantastic stay. One of the best locations we've seen. Love how self-supporting the place is. Setting is beautiful and well-maintained, pitch size very generous, occasional sounds of farm animals, which we like, but could possibly be bothersome. We got the juice and a cider made from the farm; cider was fine, juice was excellent.
Close enough to Cambridge that we could cycle out there with our gear. Very reasonably priced for what you get, and so better value than many similarly priced but less nice spots, but it's not quite as budget-friendly as some other pretty decent, small ones within an hour or so.
Non-flush toilets might be an issue for some - but I found them always clean, never smelly, frequently maintained/emptied - in fact, much better than many sites' plumbed offerings. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff.
Best of all: unlike most sites, we weren't bothered by raucous people, music, drinking well past kids bedtime. Definitely recommended, and will go again if we get the chance!
