Clear filters Absolutely amazing
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 We have just arrived back from a 2 day bank holiday weekend of camping. This is our second attempt at camping so you could say we are very fresh beginners. Absolutely amazed by everything at Barn Farm.... We picked a really good weekend to go with all the music and fun festivities, which we were unaware were going to going on when we booked. Super pleased as a family of 5, our kids loved it. We will be coming next year on the same weekend.
Only down side was the kids play area is quite wobbly we noticed when the kids were swinging, it's definitely full of wear and tear but that means it's been used lots so that's good.
But overall we had an amazing time and we will be back, with friends and family. We will be fully recommending you to all we know.
Amazing site for families

Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 Family stay with young children for the bank holiday festival - absolutely brilliant campsite and a very well organised and fun weekend.
Facilities for a campsite are just amazing, as are the staff. The place is gorgeous and so well serviced we actually couldn't believe it. We will definitely definitely be returning in the near future - thank you so much.
There was only one criticism in our group the whole weekend, and that was the very strange, and very unpleasant smell in the main toilet block throughout our stay, which was a shame because the staff worked tirelessly to keep them pristine.
Also (our fault because we were told it was cash only and forgot) but cashback or cash point on site would be so useful as the closest one is literally miles away and we definitely would have spent far more if we had cash with us, mainly at the festival but also in the games room.

Fantastic site for families
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 Fabulous little campsite for families. It was well kept, had lots of space and nice facilities.
The peacocks wandering round and the little play park made it extra special! There was some great entertainment during bank holiday weekend. My only complaint would be that the music started late 8-10:30, and kept my baby awake so I would suggest it started from 5 or 6pm instead, so more families could enjoy.
Also, we didn't realise we had to pre-book pizza, so couldn't get any.
Amazing weekend
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 Excellent stay, been here a few times but never on August bank holiday. It was very busy as expected but the site was ran and looked after really well, toilets and showers clean at all times and staff so friendly, if you wanted to find a quieter spot it was possible. A brilliant little festival on too which I think is on every year. Highly recommended.

Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2025 What a bank holiday weekend the campsite is beautiful. The entertainment for this bank holiday weekend (a mini festival they do for August bank holiday) was great. Went with 4 other families stayed in field 2 all together and never laughed so much from mid day Friday to Monday when we left.
Can not fault the site, the staff and the facilities as the title stays Brilliant.

We stayed over August bank Holiday, there was live entertainment and lots of activities to keep the kids entertained!
The site was super clean, facilities plentiful and again clean! Staff friendly and very helpful.
Will definitely be returning next year!

A brilliant first go at family camping!

The site was busy but not crowded and the extras like the pizza oven, bar and covers band were really good fun and added to the experience. Lovely walking straight from the site and the Red Lion is a fantastic pub.

Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2025 Everything was great. It was our first time camping, we had a great time. Really easy to find, pitch and location was great.
Water is everywhere nearby, clean toilets and showers. Had the best couple of days, my kids have loved it. Will definitely return!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2025 Perfect for family camping. Plenty of toilets, showers and washing up facilities. Beautiful setting with great walks right next to the campsite.
Nearly everyone was quiet by 22.30 and even the slightly noisier ones were quiet soon after!
Would definitely recommend and will return!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2025 We have stayed at Barn Farm on several occasions and have loved every time.
Unfortunately, this time we felt it wasn't as good. The cleanliness of the toilets was not up to it's normal standard. Some of the bins surrounding the field were overflowing, attracting flies and wasps in this lovely weather.
On a positive side, we did take a concern to the reception in regards to the security man and the Deputy Manager could not have been anymore helpful, which was really appreciated. We have introduced our friends to Barn Farm and we will continue to do so as it is such a lovely site. I would put ideas forward to update the games room and possibly make an adult area after 9pm, even with a little entertainment, especially at weekends. This would stop unnecessary noise around the camp.
Also, it would be lovely if we could have a small campfire to sit round at night, after all, this is all part of the camping experience. I'm sure we can all be responsible and follow guidance which is put in place.

Even though the listing said it was on a slight hill, on getting there it really was a slope so everyone was trying to cram into the few flat areas.
Good facilities, although I would say ladies showers not really cleaned on the shower walls and the bins in toilets not emptied - understandable waiting for bins to be completely full. One of the better camp sites I've been to. Hosts were very welcoming.

Recommend
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2025 Location a bit back and beyond but very good walking area hence, with no traffic or entertainment, was lovely and peaceful.
The actual site was beautiful high maintenance and extremely clean, felt very safe like a little community and everyone seemed very chilled and friendly.
Overall, probably go back maybe take dogs, a lovely restful stay. Also we loved the peacocks, very funny.
