Single Axle Caravan - Electric Gravel PitchesMay 2025
This really is a lovely site with good facilities and an on-site takeaway as well as the shop.
My only issue is that it is in the middle of nowhere and the roads to it are very difficult to navigate with a large motorhome or caravan. If all I had was a tent, they would have got five stars. I went for it as it was only 10 miles away from my caravan storage but the route that they advise taking, which I only saw when I got my booking confirmation email, means a much longer journey than I expected, nearly an hour, and still takes you down some pretty narrow roads.
I could hear branches brushing the top of my caravan, which is never good. As I say, the site is wonderful but because of the difficulties I had getting there, and home again, I would not use it again and cannot recommend to larger units, especially for novice drivers.
Definitely great for tent campers or when using the on-site units.
Great little campsite

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel PitchesApr 2025
Great little campsite, just my son and I for this trip.
It had a shop, swimming pool, football pitch, tennis courts, games room and playground area. Something for everyone. All very clean, staff friendly and quiet over night.
Whether a couple, family or solo trip it will suit all. We have family in the area and will definitely stay again.
