Ideal for those searching for a peaceful escape, enjoy a truly private and idyllic stay where you are just 15 minutes from the coast and have the 1066 way on your doorstep allowing you to get to historic Battle in about 40 minutes through the Great Battle Woods. There is just one shepherd's hut to ensure guests have a private and quiet stay, a perfect escape from city life. Enjoy a restful night's sleep in the comfy double bed and can wake up to the sound of birds chirping as you switch on the TV to play your favourite DVD. Quality Egyptian cotton linen is provided. The ensuite has a power shower, sink and toilet. There is a small kitchen area for self-catering, equipped with a kettle, sink, toaster, microwave oven, a single hob as well as crockery and utensils. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk are also provided for your morning brew! There is also a small dining table and chairs inside the hut. Outside you will find a table and chairs, two deck chairs and a large fire pit with a BBQ grill for meals in the open. Logs, a selection of games and DVDs are provided. Perfectly located in the East Sussex countryside to be within easy reach of local attractions whilst still being set back from roads so you can still enjoy a relaxing stay. Visit the coast and wander around the shops and restaurants in Hastings just 15 minutes away. Or, take a short stroll to the nearby golf course for a fantastic breakfast, lunch or dinner! Visit the owner's own horses, alpacas and geese during your stay! You are also likely to spot deer, foxes and badgers as the site is so close to the Great Battle Woods and the 1066 way. Sorry, no pets are allowed. There is a fire pit outside of the shepherd's hut for campfires and BBQs.

A very nice place to stay, the bed was so comfy and the surroundings were so quiet, we overslept! We were lucky enough that the weather let us use the firepit too, so all on all a great stay.

We stayed one night in this delightful Shepherd's Hut, located in it's own private garden. Check in was easy, with plenty of room to park. We explored the local footpaths in the afternoon and had a lovely meal nearby. We made use of the fire pit and dry evening and sat outside till late enjoying the fire and peace. The hut was very clean and tidy with everything you need inside. Would love to stay again.
