Great place

Great little park. Easy to find, a nice location and very quiet. Really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent campsite

First time at this campsite and exceeded our expectations. Beautifully maintained grounds, large pitches, fantastic views, excellent facilities, the toilet and shower block were up there with National Trust if not better. Dog friendly and a field where they can go off lead. Very friendly and helpful. And a visiting Ice Cream Van too! Excellent 👌

Great views, well maintained site

Great views of sea and mountains. This is a very clean and well maintained site. The toilet block is a bit basic, but very clean, and the showers are excellent. The site and location is very steep and could be problem if you have limited mobility. Loved our stay, but had to book 3 nights and actually only wanted 2, might have been the short notice or because it was a weekend booking.

Beautiful site

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely, peaceful site. The view from our pitch was beautiful, looking over the sea and at the hills. The toilets were very clean as were the other facilities. It was very handy for nearby shops to stock up and to explore the local towns and villages. I would 100% recommend staying here and would love to come back for another visit.

We loved this site as it has everything you need. Location is great right next to beach. We will be staying again soon.

Cyrraedd yn y glaw. Roedd Gwenan a Meirion yno i helpu ac yn glên ac yn siarad Cymraeg. Lle hyfryd iawn a golygfa anhygoel o'r môr. Popeth ar gael ac yn lân iawn. Arrived in the rain. Gwenan and Meirion were there to help us set up with mesh on the ground to assist the caravan from slipping and churning the grass. All toilets were lovely and super clean, although cold at this time of year hence 4* ;) View of the sunset from our caravan was incredible. Location ideal. Easy access. One of the best coastal sites we've found and on our doorstep.

Fantastic and friendly

The site is very well maintained and very clean. We will definitely be returning for the summer holidays. It's one of the best views from a campsite you will see 👌

Nice basic clean site with room for slight improvement

The wet weather didn't help our visit. The hard standing was 10mm slate chipping which ended up everywhere and we were forever sweeping the caravan out. Accessibility facilities were shared with families in hubs, which isn't ideal as the pods are a feature of the site and everyone wants to use them. Lack of hand rails etc in disabled facilities was noticeable. The site was extremely clean, as were the facilities. There's a lack of things for children to do. But, the site seems to be a progressive project. The views at beautiful and the sunset is as good as anywhere in the world. Overall for us, not a bad site, just lacking facilities.

Swift basecamp

Excellent site with a great location and dog friendly. Clean toilets and showers with 2 separate family pods, also with showers and toilets - very unique 👌 The owners (or site managers) were very helpful and friendly. All in all, a lovely site and would definitely recommend.

Good location with good facilities

Good location, easy walk into Penmaenmawr with its cafes, shops and amazing beach. Also the many mountain paths directly from the campsite. Easy access to buses and trains to local towns, Conwy, Llandudno etc which was great. The only disappointment was the gravel pitch with electric we were allocated. We felt that the pitch was little more than a gravel driveway with a mud patch alongside, not what we were expecting. Great views from the site however and we would return to enjoy more of the surrounding area.

I am glad to hear you enjoyed the glorious views we have from site and that the location was great for exploring North Wales. Unfortunately, you didn't mention anything and we could have looked at alternative pitches. The weather has been very challenging and as the site will be closing for the season, we will be carrying out site maintained and reseeding pitches.

Non electric camping pitch

A lovely peaceful site, with long distance views. The facilities are cleaned regularly to a high standard and include several family/ easy access bathrooms, hair dryer, washer, indoor & outdoor washing up sinks. Secure dog exercise field available. Slight issue with the pitch was that it sloped downhill.

Beautiful location

What a lovely location. We had green hills one side, the ocean the other side, we watched the sunset and then the stars came out at night. Beautiful. The toilets and showers were spotless and so was the site. All the campers were polite and tidy. Ideal for a quiet getaway.

Lovely campsite

Lovely stay at a very well maintained campsite in a beautiful location. The facilities were spotless and the pitch was flat and gave us plenty of space. Will definitely return in the future 😊

Fabulous views, good clean facilities

Friendly welcome, clean site. Clear rules. Lots of takeaway options, 15 min walk to a few shops, co-op antique shops, book shops and a museum. Beach is about a five minute walk from the shops, so twenty minutes from site. Good beach with toilets and a café shop. We misplaced an important item and the staff were really helpful and checked in on seeing us later in the day. The views are amazing, lots of walks! Facilities I used were all of good standard and clean. Geat showers, great drinking water and several outdoor sinks for washing up. There's also a washer/dryer, hairdryer, charging lockers and freezers, dog washing facilities and places to tie your dogs while using facilities. You will need change to use some of these things. Only mild inconveniences were the noise from the road, but we expected this might be the case and with ear plugs, it's fine. I'd also recommend if you're in a tent, to make sure you've got a thick ground sheet.

Best campsite for views I have been to. Mountain ⛰️ on one side and Irish Sea 🌊 on the other, can't be bad!

Had a lovely stay

Had a lovely stay, only two little bits that I feel could have been better. Toilets maybe up the top of the field, I stayed on pitch 42. Also campervans only on the flat pitches? Apart from that the warden helped us with little ramps to straighten us out. Lovely and clean, lovely owners, lovely place. Thank you 😊

Very friendly staff. Site was very clean. Good views. Pitch was just right for the VW camper.
