About the site
A truly peaceful family-run site where you can enjoy an escape from daily life while looking out over the North Yorkshire countryside. Being sat on the edge of the North York Moors, it's the ideal location for those looking to go exploring or just relax. The site is home to three fully insulated and heated luxury cedar pods. Each sleeping two adults across a double bed with an additional sofa bed that is ideal for two children or a small adult. Do note that bedding is provided for the double bed but for the sofa bed it will need to be added at booking. You'll find an ensuite with a modern shower, toilet and even a heated towel rail with all towels provided. A fully equipped kitchenette provides a double hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, teapot and cafeteria and all the kitchen utensils and crockery to enjoy a home-cooked meal. Each pod is furnished with plenty of home comforts including a smart TV, WiFi, dining table and chairs and plenty of storage space for your belongings. Outside you can enjoy the stunning views with your very own private hot tub. The stone paved patio is great for alfresco dining with a table and chairs, a fire pit and even a comfortable swinging cocoon seat. Topping pod is equipped for the ultimate wellness retreat with it's own private wood-fired sauna and cold plunge! The site also offers extras such as hampers and decorations for birthdays. Sorry, no pets are allowed.

We arrived quite late on our first night, Chris made sure to come over and give us a warm welcome, which was really lovely. The firepit was awesome and the hot tub was ready to jump in any time we wanted! We were slightly conscious of making too much noise as we were quite close to the other pods. We enjoyed walking around their manmade pond and bed time was really snuggly. The pod was stunning and the welcome cake was delicious and super generous of the hosts. Before we left, Ali came to make sure everything went well and to see us off. It was a lovely, memorable trip which will stay with us forever.

Booked this for my partners birthday, didn't know what to expect but, wow. What a hidden gem. Great for a very intimate peaceful and relaxing get away. Close to home but when your there feels like your million miles away in the countryside. Owners, if needed, are via text or phone call. They were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. On arrival there was a complimentary home made lemon cake made by one of the owners (Ali) which was amazing. The pods have everything you need utensils wise, TV has Netflix built in, we also had complimentary milk, fresh orange and fire food starter pack for the BBQ. The Foss pod was amazing as had a canopy over the hot tub, so no matter the weather, you could relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We will be definitely booking this place again in the near future!

The pod was lovely and clean, the hot tub was kept warm and ready for each use every day. The hosts were great providing a complimentary lemon drizzle cake, tea and coffee, and fresh milk and orange juice. The location felt remote, but was close to a few small villages that were well worth checking out. A booklet and website was available full of information about things to do in the area and places to eat, which was very helpful.
