Pets are welcome, and the Metal Bridge Inn is on hand for refreshing drinks, hot food and good atmosphere. 15 mins from Carlisle, or half an hour from the Solway Coast. Great for walkers - the North Pennines start 30 mins away or you can be in the Lakes within an hour.
About Metal Bridge Pods
This small scale site hosts pods with a range of sleeping arrangements to suit different travellers. Great as a base for your staycation across the border or for exploring Cumbria and the Scottish Borders by car. Inside, comfortable beds and all the bedding you need will be supplied, plus some furnishings and battery powered lights. Outside there's decking where you can sit out, watch the view or eat in the open air. Pods have access to shared facilities nearby.
