Cae Du Campsite is set at the foot of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), within a ten minute walk of Beddgelert village. Enjoy mountain views from every pitch, surrounded by nature with an onsite lake and river, perfect for cooling off. Choose from a range of grass and hardstanding pitches, some with electric hooks ups. The site is surrounded by walking routes, a five minute drive from the start of the Watkin Path for Snowdon climbs!

Brilliant place to stay. Amazing views, great staff but maybe could benefit from having a park for kiddies too play on.

A lovely surprise. I was returning to an area I visited many times when I was younger (and fitter) and this site fitted the bill. It is very well laid out with plenty of space between pitches. My ‘local’ shower block was clean and the shower water lovely and warm. Well done on installing a reg number recognition barrier it’s a pity other sites don’t adopt this. Very convenient for the village and fit bus services between towns.

Amazing views, campsite has a river walk and a pond. Reception gave a map of the area including the walks. Really nice area and easy to find.

Absolutely cannot fault this site. Really warm welcome and helpful advice given, including local pubs and amazing walks. We didn't need electric, but on the electric pitches, each pitch has own access to water, which is genius idea. Beautiful views and short walk to village or longer walk if wanted. Facilities very clean and plentiful, with large and roomy showers and toilets. Gorgeous site and highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my time at this campsite. The place was clean and tidy and the staff were really friendly. The best part of the whole experience was the views around the camp, you are surrounded by mountains. Also, there is a local town 5 mins walk away from the site which do nice food. Only bad thing about the campsite was the midges, but that comes with the price of camping - bring bug spray!

We had a lovely 2 day break. Great location for climbing Snowdon. Very tranquil and lots of space. Facilities excellent, lots of toilets/showers and a room with books and games was a fab idea especially with the Welsh weather! Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a swim in the beautiful lake, which eased my burning legs after climbing Snowdon. 15 minute walk into Beddgelert, where there is a really good choice of pubs/cafes etc. Had 2 lovely suppers in different pubs and also a scrummy(lush) brekkie. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location with lovely riverside walk trail! Friendly and accommodating staff at reception. I would have loved another night stay and would definitely recommend this site.

After some accommodation fell through, we had a very last minute booking at this campsite. Unfortunately, we didn't arrive until late in the evening but staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We pitched the tent near to the river and found there were lots of pleasant walks around the campsite, including a lovely walk to the local village only 10 mins away, very dog friendly. We also found the facilities to be very good, showers were warm and powerful. We had a lovely silent night sleep and were only 15 minutes away from the car park we used to climb Snowdon. Great location with some lovely views from the campsite itself, there was limited signal in the area but Wi-Fi is great there. We would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant campsite in the perfect location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park. Very friendly and helpful staff, lots of local information for hiking routes and days out. Beautiful riverside location with the village just a short walk away and very good Wi-Fi. Highly recommend and we will stay again.

My friends and I stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and there was enough so that you never queued, and they were always stocked, there was even a hair dryer which was an appreciated touch. The actual pitches were a great size and the campsite is set in a beautiful landscape. The fire pits rental was great and the staff were always so friendly and helpful, and accommodated any changes happily. The village is literally 15 minute walk and has all the amenities you would need. Honestly, would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Best camping experience I've had - really well staffed, stunning riverside location, awesome access to Beddgelert, which is a wonderful town. I had a swim in the river there and was really impressed with the facilities, including fire pits and really good showers. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent campsite. Provide a map/diagram how to set up your pitch. Facilities clean and modern. Even provide shampoo, soap, etc. if you forget your own. Hair dryer is free, no rip off £1 coin slot. Easy walking distance to Llyn Dinas, Beddgelert village. Loads of walks without having to drive anywhere. My pitch was next to the river. Unfortunately there were Welsh midges munching on my skin. No Vodafone coverage, couldn't make or receive calls. Wifi great and free. All in all I will happily go back again.

We have something called 'Wi-Fi calling' so you can switch that on your phone and it works the same as having signal. Might be better to start cleaning after check out time. We couldn't use the cleaning and showering facilities nearest to us from 10am.

Me and my son only stayed 1 night for our first ever camping trip but couldn't fault the park and staff. On arrival, we were greeted by Jo. He was extremely helpful and check in was easy. On setting up the tent with my 7 year old, I soon realised I'd overestimated myself, so nipped to reception and Jo radioed Emily to come and help. Emily was fantastic and we both soon had my tent up and a happy boy. We hired a fire pit and had a great experience overall. We didn't need to use the shower, pot washing and laundry room, but was all to a good standard and surprised how well equipped it was. In a beautiful location clean and tidy we would definitely go back. Thank you to Emily and Jo for making our first camping trip such a success and one my son will remember forever x

Fabulous little campsite in the beautiful village of Beddgelert. It's a 10 minute walk from the village where there are a number of pubs, shops and amenities. The local bus runs to Pen-y-pass for walks up Snowdon. The campsite was lovely, the staff very friendly and had good local knowledge. Would highly recommend.

Lovely. Great to be able to walk into town. Easy access to walks around the site. Only issue was the poor Wifi where my site was (L20).

Nestled at the base of several spectacular mountains or hills depending where you come from. Just 15m from the local village, lots of walks from the camp and some great pubs which serve great food @princellweylnhotel. We tried our first attempt at wild swimming in the flowing river which surrounds the camp, certainly revitalises the senses 😀
