Lower Pennycrocker Farm is a family-run campsite on the North Cornwall Coast with amazing sea views, five minutes from Boscastle. Unmarked grass pitches welcome tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes with the option of 10 amp electric. There is a handy onsite dog walk, with a pub and Boscastle Farm Shop within a five minute drive too. For days out, Tintagel and Crackington Beach are within 15 minutes, and Bude is 20 minutes away!

About the site


This family-run campsite has been set along the North Cornwall coast for the last 76 years, offering great sea views and sunsets. With a relaxed, laid-back feel and coastal paths within a 15 minute walk, it's a lovely spot for soaking in the fresh sea air. The site offers 40 unmarked grass pitches, with both non electric and 10 amp electric hook-up pitches. Tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans, rooftents and motorhomes are all welcome. Just five minutes away is the charming harbour village of Boscastle, where visitors can wander the narrow streets, visit the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic or explore the scenic coastline. A little further along, Tintagel Castle (15 minutes) offers dramatic cliff-top views and links to King Arthur. Dogs are welcome too, with up to two allowed per pitch. There is also a handy onsite dog walking area, perfect for letting them stretch their legs after a day exploring. BBQs are permitted for outdoor cooking, as long as they are raised off the ground and supervised by an adult. Please note, open fires are not allowed, but you can have raised fire pits. There is also Boscastle Farm Shop and Cafe five minutes down the road for tasty breakfast and lunch options, or picking up some local produce!

Things to do on site and in the Boscastle area

Just five minutes away, Boscastle is a charming harbour village. You can visit the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, grab an ice cream from one of the cafes, go swimming or walk along the South West Coast Path.

Tintagel Castle is around 20 minutes from the campsite. Set high on the cliffs, this dramatic ruin is famously linked to the story of King Arthur. Cross the footbridge, explore the remains of the castle and enjoy incredible views of the coastline.

Nature lovers will enjoy visiting St Nectan's Waterfall, about 15 minutes away. Hidden in a wooded valley, this magical waterfall tumbles through a hole in the rock into a pool below.

For a day at the seaside, Crackington Beach is just ten minutes from the farm. This sand and shingle cove is ideal for unwinding, with rock pools revealed as the tide goes out.

The popular town of Bude is around 20 minutes away. Here you'll find sandy beaches, shops, cafés and the popular sea pool for safe swimming. It's a great place for a full day out, whether you want to surf, walk along the canal or relax by the coast.
