Situated in a small town in Bedfordshire, Henlow Bridge Lakes is a family-friendly site set in 33 acres with four fishing lakes. Ideally located in the countryside and close to a train station, the site offers a range of accommodation from grass and hardstanding pitches to pods, cabins and lodges. From cycle routes nearby, onsite play area and fishing, it's an ideal escape for the whole family.

About Henlow Bridge Lakes
Henlow Bridge Lakes is an ideally located family friendly site. With four lakes and a passing river, it not only makes for great fishing but creates a tranquil setting with an abundance of wildlife. You'll get that countryside feel while being less than an hour's drive outside of Cambridge. There is ample of space here with 100 grass pitches perfect for tents, caravans and motorhomes. There are also 80 hardstanding pitches located by the water, suitable for caravans, motorhomes and RVs. All camping and caravan pitches have the option of 10amp electric. If you're after the camping feel but are looking for something a little more special, opt for one of three unfurnished pods. Offering a warm shelter with electric and heating these are a great option to escape the elements. The cabins offer comfort for up to four adults. Cosy up watching the TV by the heater, or head to the private patio dining area with a fire pit and BBQ for lake side views. Fully furnished with a double bed, pull out bunk beds and a private bathroom and kitchenette. Travel light as all linen and cooking utensils are provided. There are also six lodges available, sleeping four with separate bedrooms and a seating/dining area. Dogs are welcome but please keep them on leads at all times due to the wildlife.

The site is home to the award-winning amenity block with showers, toilets, baby changing facilities, a disabled wet room and a laundry room. There are several children's play areas and a small fully stocked shop to buy essentials.
The small village of Henlow is just a 15 minute walk. There is a local village store, a café and three local pubs, including The Crown serving a selection of food and drink.

Things to do on site and in the Henlow area
This site is ideal for those looking to get back out amongst nature. Spend your days and night fishing around one of the sites many lakes, with an array of wildlife and surrounded by countryside.
Venture further out and explore some of the local nature reserves such a Pegsdon Hills and Hoo Bit Nature Reserve, Oughtonhead Common and Barton Hills. Offering great walks and fantastic scenery.
Within a 50 minute drive of Cambridge, great for culture, shopping and plenty of tasty eateries. Milton Keynes is also within 50 minutes of the site, another great town for a day of shopping.
