Take a leisurely ten minute stroll to the local pub, The Grafham Trout, for a hearty meal or pop into the village shop for essentials and treats. Ideally located, the site offers something for everyone. Enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities at Grafham Water from fishing and cycling to sailing and hiking. Or, if you prefer a slower pace, stay by your pitch with a campfire, play board games, or let the kids relax with a DVD in the cosy indoor seating area. Onsite there is a spacious main field for tents and pitches with optional electric. Hardstanding pitches are also available with 16 amp electric hook ups for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. Nature lovers can explore the surrounding nature reserves, including Brampton Wood Nature Reserve (5 minutes) and Stanwick Lakes Nature Reserve, within a 25 minute drive. For a fun family day out, Hamerton Zoo Park is just 20 minutes from the site. BBQs and campfires are welcome, just ensure they are raised off the ground. Four-legged friends can join your stay, with a private enclosed field for them to run freely off lead.
