About the site


This family friendly campsite is set on 200 acres of countryside, surrounded by scenic footpaths and a backdrop of rural views. The site is small and secluded, nestled in the heart of Cambridgeshire and is just a 25 minute drive from Cambridge city centre. Guests will stay in spacious bell tents, each featuring a double bed with memory foam mattresses and a settee. Outside, you'll find a table and chairs, a fire pit, BBQ, and your own private wood-fired hot tub. Bedding is provided for the double bed, but if you're using the optional airbeds for little ones, please bring your own bedding. Towels are not included, so remember to pack your own. Extra wood for the hot tubs is available to purchase onsite. For fun family outings, visit Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard (25 minutes away) or meet furry friends at Hamerton Zoo Park (30 minutes away). Dogs are welcome, with up to two allowed per bell tent. BBQs and camp fires are welcome too!

Onsite, there are two toilets, three showers and a washing up area. Guests will also find a seating area and a converted horse box for making hot drinks and charging phones. Extra wood is available to purchase for the wood-fired hot tubs.

A five minute drive from the site is Haywain, a local pub serving a range of drinks and hot meals. For those everyday essentials, there is an Aldi, a Co-op, and a Morrisons all within a five minute drive from the site.

Things to do on site and in the St Ives area

The charming market town of St Ives is just a five minute drive away, ideal for a riverside stroll, browsing local shops, or grabbing a bite at one of the many eateries. For family fun, Lammas Land is a 30 minute drive and offers open spaces for picnics, a wading pool, and even a tennis court. Dogs are welcome too!

Kids will also love Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard (25 minutes), where they can get lost in the maze, enjoy go karting, foam parties, and water wars.

History lovers can explore the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences (30 minutes away), home to ancient artefacts including rocks, fossils, and preserved creatures, some even donated by Charles Darwin. Kettle's Yard (25 minutes), a university run gallery filled with unique paintings, antiques, and inspiring exhibitions, is also within a 35 minute drive.
