A great, simple base in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, just a 20 minute drive from Chester. Beeston and Peckforton Castles can even be seen from the second field, which makes for a lovely backdrop to your holiday! There are 20 non electric grass pitches (Rabbit) that are located in the Lower Meadow area of the campsite, some with views across the scenic wildlife pond. These measure 4m x 9m and welcome trailer tents, roof tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. If you would like an electric hook up, the Robin area offers 8m x 8m grass pitches in the Upper Meadow. These come with 10 amp electric hook ups, also allowing trailer tents, roof tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. For hardstanding pitches, there are 4m x 8m pitches (Fox) with 10 amp hook ups. Or, larger 6m x 11m pitches (Badger) with 16 amp hook ups. Each comes with a neighbouring grassed area, and allows campervans, caravans and motorhomes. You will be spoilt for choice with days out. The Ice Cream Farm is a two minute drive away, where you can enjoy a delicious range of flavours, farm animals and children's activities. The Crocky Trail and Beeston Castle are also ten minutes away. In the evenings, you are welcome to cook up a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a fire pit, just please ensure both are raised from the ground. Pubs in Tattenhall village are also a 30 minute walk away for dining out. Dogs can come along for the adventure, with up to three dogs permitted per pitch!
