Clear filters South west coast path VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 A well located site for those walking this stretch of the SWCP with lovely mown pitches and areas of long grass for the wildlife.
However, the facilities were extremely dirty. The showers had black mould around the rim and up the corners; the shower curtains were dirty, as was the washing up area. The shower itself was hot, but the water to wash up in was cold.

More bins would be useful but really it is essential people take away their large items of rubbish, like beach umbrellas and burst airbeds! It would be useful to have a specific dog mess bin! Lovely location and vibe!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 It's a basic campsite in regards to facilities but the location is incredible! A beautiful walk along the canal and you're in Bude town.
The owners are lovely and friendly. Great for the money!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 Peaceful site. Lots of space. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The campsite owner was very friendly and helpful.
The site is easy walking distance of the cliffs and sea. I took my dog there every day. Bude and Widemouth Bay are close and can be walked to but I usually drove.
I shall certainly return to Cerenety.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2024 It's a great site and ideally situated for the just under a mile walk into town for the beach. It's good value for money and a good, basic down to earth site.
Plenty of bio diversity in the wash house, that all adds to the charm of its eco nature. I will most certainly return.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 A perfect campsite for me. Lovely and quiet. Family friendly. Eco conscious. Basic but suitable facilities just as camping should be. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing the kids next time.

Our visit VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Not for us. We paid £60 for 2 nights and the toilets and showers were awful. I understand eco but there was mess all over the toilet seats and so many bugs. Showers freezing. You couldn't even empty your own toilets on site.
Booked as it was a late booking, so didn't have a lot of choice, but felt ripped off especially after the 2nd site we went to was the same price. It left us feeling so dirty after the stay, we would have been better wild camping as we effectively did for £30 per night. It was extra to fetch an awning and no EHU.

One week in Bude
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Love this campsite. This was our second stay here. Very friendly. Perfect location for myself and my 2 young teenage boys.
We like a bit of bodyboarding and there are a few great beaches within easy reach of this site. Personally, I like the peace and quiet. I prefer early nights and early mornings. Didn't have any issues with noise during our stay.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 A wonderful, quiet campsite. A short walk down the lane to the canal, which leads you to the town and beach, is the perfect location. Walk the other way to a quieter clifftop walk to Widemouth Bay.
Very friendly site owner and very helpful. Surprisingly warm solar powered showers and the composting toilets were clean. My little boy fell in love with Snowdrop, the onsite sheep.
Great campsite just outside Bude
Backpacker Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Great eco campsite - compost loos and showers powered by solar. Despite rainy weather, there was still hot water, which was great. Plenty of facilities well looked after. Nice amount of space and 'pitch anywhere' approach. Lots of animals about to pet!
Owner is very friendly and welcoming too.
Conveniently located eco campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 This eco campsite is conveniently located in Bude, a few minutes drive to the town centre but far enough to enjoy the wild.
The lady who runs the campsite is very helpful and friendly, and the animals she has on the land make the campsite much more of an experience.
The facilities are well looked after, with solar showers and compost toilets. There is also a place to charge your phone which is solar powered and a lovely facility as well as an area to wash wetsuits.
A great campsite, would definitely recommend.

Pleasant site in a good position
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Don't expect a top of the range shower/toilet block. It's an eco site which appears to live up to it's name. Basic facilities, compost toilets and solar powered showers. Much of the site is on a hill. I knew what to expect and enjoyed my stay.
Half an hour walk into Bude along the canal. 20/30 metres from lovely coast path. Would consider coming again.
Great location
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 The weather wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as the forecast predicted.
The location is lovely, just a few minutes walk from the canal from where it's probably a 25 minute walk into town. It's probably a 15 minute walk to the coast path.
I really like the campsite with the rescue animals... an alpaca and two friendly, elderly sheep plus a couple of sweet cats.
There are enough toilets and the showers work. It's basic, but clean. Wouldn't suit glampers. but I've stayed twice now and am very happy with it.
Lovely eco campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This is a lovely simple campsite, just 20 minutes pleasant walk from Bude. There are compost toilets, and the showers are warmed by solar power - both worked well. We enjoyed our stay there.

Cerenety campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We loved staying at Cerenety Campsite. The location was perfect for us as we like walking & just leaving the van static. Within easy reach of the canal and river walks into Bude or out onto the coastal path. Site wouldn't be to everyone's taste as it is very basic, but the advertising reflects this. We felt it was a little expensive as it is so basic, but the location partly made up for this. The host was very friendly & helpful.
Beautiful tranquil campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This is a lovely campsite, which has been well thought out.
Particularly good for people who want to be back to basics in beautiful surroundings- perfect for relaxing and switching off. The compost toilets were spotlessly clean.
You can walk alongside the canal into Bude in just 25 minutes.
