Cerenety Eco Campsite is a peaceful, back to nature site on the North Cornwall Coast. The perfect place to pitch up your tent or park the campervan with views of the surrounding countryside. There is ample space for kids to play and ideally located for the Cornish coast so you can spend days surfing and relaxing on the beach within walking distance to Bude. Meet the resident horses, alpacas, sheep and tortoises too!

About Cerenety Eco Campsite
Come to the Cornish coast to make friends with rescue animals, meander down the canal into town and beaches, or take a 20 minute wander through country lanes to the cliff coastal path and climb down to local tranquil Upton beach. This site is led by enthusiastic people wanting to create a experience for campers limiting the impact on the environment. To achieve this, staff creatively up-cycle, turn their hands to some green building and make use of innovative technology. There are 60 grass pitches onsite, all are without electric for that back to basic feel. Accepting tents and small campervans with plenty of room for awnings and gazebos. All pitches are well spaced giving you your own slice of nature. Dogs are welcome with miles of great countryside walks to explore. Campfires are permitted, so please bring a fire pit bowl/basket. BBQs are allowed but please use wood - you can buy sustainably sourced logs onsite.
Cerenety Eco Campsite is open from 26/04 to 06/10.
Site facilities include three solar showers with good pressure and a set of compost toilets, plus sinks for washing up. There's also a pick your own veg patch (seasonal). A Dutch oven is available for hire.
Lots of restaurants and takeaways in the area, with The Coachman's Bar and Grill within a mile. Bude is a 20 minute walk away for shops and more. There are 2 supermarkets in town and 2 North of the town, just off the A39.

Don't expect a top of the range shower/toilet block. It's an eco site which appears to live up to it's name. Basic facilities, compost toilets and solar powered showers. Much of the site is on a hill. I knew what to expect and enjoyed my stay. Half an hour walk into Bude along the canal. 20/30 metres from lovely coast path. Would consider coming again.

The weather wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as the forecast predicted. The location is lovely, just a few minutes walk from the canal from where it's probably a 25 minute walk into town. It's probably a 15 minute walk to the coast path. I really like the campsite with the rescue animals... an alpaca and two friendly, elderly sheep plus a couple of sweet cats. There are enough toilets and the showers work. It's basic, but clean. Wouldn't suit glampers. but I've stayed twice now and am very happy with it.

This is a lovely simple campsite, just 20 minutes pleasant walk from Bude. There are compost toilets, and the showers are warmed by solar power - both worked well. We enjoyed our stay there.

Things to do on site and in the Bude area
You may be able to see the feeding of the horse and ponies, alpacas, goats, eggs being collected, and you can stroke the tortoise and pet the rabbit.
Bude is great! What's not to love? You can surf, climb, cycle, hike, row, pedalo, horse ride, fish, boat, go rock pooling, explore caves and much much more. There are plenty of family friendly beaches within walking distance.
There's also some wonderful places to eat, some great local bars and pubs and some fantastic arts and craft shops. It's all within 20 minutes walk from the campsite down the beautiful canal.
Take a day trip to the historic harbour village of Boscastle. Set in the depths of a valley, with great walks, picturesque architecture and stunning scenery, it's definitely worth a visit.
