About Willow Valley Holiday Park

Relax and unwind at this beautiful, sheltered park by the north Cornish coast. Ringed by the surroundings of the Strat Valley, the park offers camping, touring and glamping with facilities including a children's play area and shop. Conveniently located on the A39, it's ideal for touring Devon and Cornwall. Level grass and hardstanding pitches are spread over two fields, with plenty of electric hook-up. You can choose between pitching your tent closer to the road and enjoying maximum space in Lower Willow. Or get comfy in the main camping and touring area (Middle Willow), where there is lots of space for kids to enjoy the fresh air and the amenities are very close. But if you want to feel glam in the countryside, a bell tent could be just for you. These sleep up to four with a chic furnished interior and cute decorations. Six holiday lets are also available. The site is home to seven more acres of land onsite with various flora and fauna, perfect for exploring and immersing in nature. Pets are welcome in the regular pitches and glamping areas!

Camping and touring pitches are available from Easter to September, bell tents from May until September. Lodges and other glamping accommodation open year round.

A note from the site themselves...

We both love Cornwall and were married just down the coast in Rock back in 2017. After that, we searched for an opportunity to move to Cornwall and Willow Valley has provided the perfect opportunity.

We are always making ongoing improvements to ensure our site is the best it can be. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren't changing the campsite itself though, why would we when it is already so perfect! We hope to welcome you here soon, Chris and Jen

Booked online the night before and arrived a little later than thought. Chris greeted us and showed us our pitch and helped me get the van connected. Very friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets were immaculate. Highly recommend staying here.

Glamping - Bluebird Refurbished School BusJan 2024

Accommodating, helpful and kind. The bus glamping was great. Great facilities, well thought of. Wood for warming. Chris and Jen were kind enough to also allow us access to one of the lodges which greatly helped with the kids.

FAQ

Check-in is available from 12pm until 6pm for camping and touring and from 4pm glamping. The site will reserve the right to re-let pitches if not claimed by 6pm so do advise the site if you are going to be delayed. Departure will be due before 11:30am for camping on your last day and 10am for those in the glamping accommodation.

Dogs are welcome but there are a few rules. Dogs must be kept on a lead (no longer than 2 metres) at all times and exercised in the area provided. They must not be left unattended at any time. Due to it being a family park, the site regretfully will not allow the following breeds - Rottweiler, Doberman, Bull Mastiff, Pit Bull Terriers and crosses of the same.

BBQs and firepits are allowed but they must be placed on a stand or bricks, you can get these from the onsite shop.

As stated in the listing, the pitches accept four to six people. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, then two pitches must be booked. Unfortunately the site does not allow any all male, all female, mixed groups or large parties. This is a families and couples site only.

Both awnings and gazebos are allowed on any of the pitches, just please include this in your booking when asked.

Only one vehicle is permitted per touring pitch and two per caravan or bungalow. Additional vehicles must be parked in the designated areas and there will be an extra charge for more vehicles.

Located on the A39, it's a great site for touring Devon or Cornwall with so much to do.

The site is just a short drive to bustling Bude. Previously named as the UK's Best Coastal Town, head here for clean beaches, surfing and fantastic foodie spots.

Other beaches, including Summerleaze Beach and Widemouth, are within a 10-minute drive.

Golf, fishing, horse riding and all sorts of other sports are also available nearby.

Other great options include:

  • Bude Castle
  • Bude Sea Pool
  • Penhallam Manor
  • Widemouth Beach
