Penwarne Farm is in an AONB and is conveniently located between the Helford River and Falmouth. A peaceful site, surrounded by nature and panoramic views over Pendennis Castle and Falmouth Bay. The views from this site are fantastic and the location is good. Pitches are of a generous size. The facilities, although adequate, are a bit rustic and quite expensive for what is provided. No WiFi, which in this day is pretty much expected. I would imagine the site would be quite muddy in wet weather. A bit more information on the locality, buses, pubs, walking etc would have been nice. So, if you want a site with to die for views, quiet and back to basics then this is good. Oh, and they have a cafe but we didn’t try it but others said it was good.

Lovely farm, had a view of the sheep. It has a café that has all the bits you forgot to pack for breakfast! 😂 First time camping near a café and it's a game changer! The dog appreciated it too! Lovely friendly people I really strongly recommend staying - gorgeous farm.

Fantastic location with amazing views, but the showers are a shed and judging by the same dead bugs being there all week very rarely cleaned. Toilet disposal was a hole in the ground. Very basic for the amount we paid!!

This is a traditional farm campsite, so don't expect 5 star facilities. The site is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and the views are second to none. There is a shower/toilet block - it has an open entrance rather than a door, so lots of creepy crawlies make their way in overnight. The grass on the site was also very overgrown and could do with being mown down a bit - it made it hard to put a tent up and meant that it was constantly soggy underfoot. The staff were friendly and overall I would recommend the site for someone used to rural camping and not expecting all the latest mod-cons.

Friendly welcome, friendly fellow campers, lovely view of the bay, good facilities, clean free showers (other more expensive sites sometimes charge for them!), helpful site staff/manager. Certainly an ideal spot for a one night in my VDub tour of Cornwall.

Very pleasant stay, welcoming and helpful staff! Lovely views from site and great location, good size pitches. The cafe was a real added treat, had fab breakfasts there. The toilet and shower facilities were good. I would definitely stay there again!

We have had multiple stays at this campsite and each time was just as lovely as we remembered. Friendly staff, beautiful views and just all around a great get away spot. We can't wait to return.

Enjoyed my stay at the campsite great views of the sea helpful friendly staff and good facilities including on site cafe Site is a working farm but this adds to the enjoyment and there is no intrusion from the cows Nicola and helpers bent over backwards to help make my stay memorable - I will be returning!

The owners couldn't do enough for us to make our stay top notch. Will definitely return next year. Being new to camping we forgot a few things, one being the electric cable to hook us up to the electric. Not a problem for the owners of the site, the guy literally made us one up. They would go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay with them. I'd highly recommend this site and will definitely return next year.

The campsite was perfectly situated enabling us to walk into Falmouth and super close to our favourite Helford coves. Very relaxed atmosphere, able to use our portable firepit and pitch up beside the van!!

We enjoyed our stay here, very basic which is what we wanted. Showers were fine to use but bring a hair band to hold in the push button for the water if you've got long hair and takes a bit longer to wash. People that run it were lovely and they had chair to borrow if your child accidently breaks theirs. My only down side with it is, there is only one sink per bathroom. Families were constantly queuing to washing hands, clean teeth etc. We ended up using bottled water behind our tent to do teeth at bedtime. But with that being said, I would stay here again.

Lovely location. Main issue was the showers and toilets. Shower pressure was non existent. Toilets and waste water ran into a cesspit which backed up and overflowed everyday! Not sufficient toilet numbers for size of site.

We stayed around 3-4 different times this year and each time was just as good as the first! The facilities were awesome, staff were lovely, accommodating and the food was great! We stayed with our 1 year old a few times then came back at the end off summer with family to stay too The views are amazing!

Highly recommended! Our son is in a wheelchair and we were impressed with the ramp access and toilets. Definitely back next year! Staff are brilliant and lush camping memories were definitely made!

Facilities were good and clean but the site is on an exposed field on a headland overlooking the sea which could be lovely in good weather but was extremely exposed during bad, we feared the tent would blow away. There is nothing wrong with the site, it is just a bit functional and lacking in natural charm, unlike others we’ve stayed at in the area. Very well placed for exploring the Falmouth area though.

Friendly owners, location was great, facilities also great with clean showers and toilets. Place was quite busy but everyone was behaving well. Left earlier just because weather got horrible with storms.

Lovely campsite, marvellous cafe on site good taxi service to and from Falmouth that are dog friendly. I had the opportunity to bottle feed a calf which was amazing, beautiful views over Falmouth Bay. Would not recommend for anyone with a nervous dog as the propane cannons to scare the birds could cause distress but it didn't bother my 12 year old springer as he's deaf!. All in all a great place.

As a large family of 14 , we had the best time. Lovely friendly staff on arrival, who work tirelessly to keep to site clean. Great 30 min cross country walk to a beautiful beach, and a small work down the road to the red lion pub. We will return

Great location, friendly, but poor facilities. Only one washing up sink for entire campsite. Fridge freezer really dirty and so iced up... needed more space for ice packs. Showers good but lacking in hooks for clothes. Also didn't like young calves in pen.
