Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

Fantastic campsite with sea view. Has all the basic requirements, toilet and shower block, communal washing machine and fridge freezer, dish washing facility and homemade pizza's for sale with a shop and café on site and a park for children. The beach is a 30 minute walk away and Falmouth is just a short drive. Would definitely recommend this if you want a basic campsite without the entertainment facilities.

Lovely friendly site

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

This is a lovely site with a friendly atmosphere. The views are beautiful and it is ideally located for beaches, local attractions and Falmouth itself. There were calves in a pen which my daughter loved and the owners went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful stay, staff were so friendly and extremely happy to help. Very clean, we attended during COVID so this was perfect! Our little one liked the park and even fed the calves too.

Few points that let it down but good

Small Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

This place had all the facilities at the Campsite and wasn't a bad place to stay but needed to get a taxi to go places. The only thing is that the farmer burns his rubbish even when the wind is blowing across the Campsite. The farmer makes lots of noise early in the morning, perhaps he shouldn't before 9am. On the morning we were leaving, at 7am, he was scraping gravel with a teleporter. Showers were hot and has a washing machine

Beautiful campsite and location. So much space and facilities are so clean! Didn't have the chance to eat at the café but the food looks amazing, short drive to the beach and easy for Falmouth which has some amazing spots. 10000% recommend and cannot wait to return ! :) <3

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2021

This is a great campsite for families in the summertime. When we stayed there was a nice atmosphere with many groups (mainly families). One of the highlights of this campsite is the great view out towards the coast. Generally a very nice atmosphere and safe for kids to roam around. If you like quiet and solitude then perhaps not for you, but after around 10pm it quietens down so no problem for sleeping. Another thing we really liked was the takeaway pizza tent (open in the summertime I believe). Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Great campsite, stunning views

We really enjoyed our stay at Penwarne, it was easy to locate and the views were amazing. The facilities were good and kept clean, plus there was a friendly cat who came to say hello a few times when we were washing up etc. The location was perfect for going to different beaches, on nice walks, and also into Falmouth. The local village had so many nice little shops. We didn't actually go to the little café on-site, but hope to next time we stay. We didn't have children with us, but the park looked fun!

We've just come back from a beautiful weekend in which we camped at Penwarne Farm. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady, I assume the owner, she showed us our pitch. They have fire pits to rent (very cheap) and they all sell there own logs and kindling with firefighters provided ( extremely helpful in our case) The on-site facilities were immaculate and the showers were always hot! 45 min walk from maenporth beach (which is stunning and not too busy) 5 minute drive into Falmouth town. Lovely little cafe, food was lovely and the service was great. Lovely little play area for the kids and plenty of field to play football! Can't recommend enough, already planning next trip back!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2021

Absolutely lovely campsite! Under new management this season so please ignore any older reviews. Spent a week camping at Penwarne and could not have been happier. Staff are all so helpful and really lovely. Facilities clean and well maintained, along with the yummiest food from the cafe onsite. Hot showers all day long and great to see covid policies in place. The view was what made us book and so glad we did. In the distance you can walk to Maeporth beach onto Swanpool and then into Falmouth. This is a hidden gem of Cornwall and not to be missed. We were without a car, so was a little out of the way but good taxi service locally. Thank you Natalie and team.

Awesome campsite with great views, really friendly staff, fantastic and very reasonably priced breakfast and clean facilities. They were among the first to open after Covid and embraced all the requirements. Highly recommended.

We went midweek out of school holidays so the site was fairly quiet which we wanted. Lovely views.

Quiet and peaceful, no shop/restaurant onsite but great value for money

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2021

We really enjoyed the stay, thought I thought it'd be closer to the sea but found it wasn't. When we arrived had to travel over 10 miles (at least) to get to some shops, would have been better if there was onsite shop or a cafe but overall it was a great place.
