Tencreek Holiday Park is the closest holiday park to Looe Beach and Talland Bay, with stunning views over the sea and surrounding countryside. It's open all year with a range of excellent grass and hardstanding pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes or tents. From an indoor swimming pool, kid's club and the fantastic Castaway bar, there's sure to be something to keep the whole family smiling! Close by to Looe and Polperroro.

A lovely campsite with friendly staff. Great facilities included in our stay, we enjoyed using the swimming pool lots of times as the weather was unfortunately very rainy and wet. Toilet and shower blocks clean and tidy with plenty of space. They have everything you need for your camping holiday included like Castaway bar and entertainment. It was really clean and tidy with friendly staff. There is a shop on site as well, which is handy. Nice pasties and sausage rolls sold there. Great holiday enjoyed by all the family. Just a shame the weather wasn't kind as it made it a little wet and muddy on the site, but that's unfortunately due to the weather not the campsite's fault. It's in a great area with beautiful sea views. It is very close to Looe and also not far from Polperro, which we visited a few times.

The real problem for us was the shower facilities. The water was only very lukewarm and the temperature was completely unacceptable. My wife noted that the baby changing table had mould on it. We advised reception on leaving but the attitude was indifferent - no note made; no action proposed. I believe services are in need of a radical overhaul.

A great park that we visited in early January on a very cold, but sunny day. The ablutions were spotless and wonderfully warm! Great location and open all year. Perfect for visiting Looe and Polperro. Ideal for couples out of season. Can imagine it gets very busy with families in the high season.

Quiet time of year, therefore restaurant and swimming pool were closed. Good location close to SW Coast path and within walking distance of Looe. Warm shower and toilet facilities and friendly staff on arrival.

Excellent holiday park! Very clean, tidy, professional park, well kept and well managed. Perfect stop over with large 9m motorhome all hardstanding fully serviced pitch. Toilets and showers were immaculate and heated, with an heated indoor swimming pool to top it all off. Staff were brilliant and professional, explaining everything you need to know. Well done Tencreek, you got my 10/10!

Although we booked a fully serviced hardstanding pitch, I have to say that we were a little disappointed on our arrival to see that actually a fully serviced pitch meant that there was only a service point with electricity and water point shared between 4 pitches. This meant that as in our case the supply was on the wrong side of our caravan, resulting in our water pipe being too short to use without encroaching on the pitch next to us. It would have been nice to know beforehand that it is actually a shared service pitch, which potentially requires a longer water hose. We might have missed that chocks are also required! All that said, we had a pleasant stay despite the high winds and rain. Good access to coastal paths and a pleasant walk down country lanes into Looe.

Lovely site with fantastic views. Nice and peaceful for our early October break. The site is mostly sloping so take wheel ramps just in case. Friendly clubhouse/bar too.

Perfect for family. Everything is on place. Very clean and tidy. A lot of fun everyday. Indoor swimming pool which is perfect if whether isn't good. We will back there again 👍👍👍👍

It has to be said firstly that the weather was great - which made my stay so much better than if it had been raining or cold. I chose this site because it was not too far from home and had a pool. The pool was a smallish indoor pool so lengths were easy to do! Very modern pool, spotlessly clean, very kind and friendly attendants. The shop is well stocked if a bit on the expensive side. There was a variety of evening entertainment, I think when there were children. I didn't go to check it out. A neighbouring family told me it was fun for the kids. I chose this week because schools were back. I rarely holiday during school holidays so I have no idea what it is like at those times. My guess is that it is manic and very kid-centric. I was in a small van and the pitch sizes were very generous. The loos and shower block were spotless. There was litter and I didn't see anyone picking it up (except me). It must be getting done sometime because it wasn't overly much. I am an older woman camping alone. I felt very secure and safe even though where I was staying was fairly secluded.

Trencreek was a lovely clean site, well maintained, staff were very helpful. Everything you needed was there and in a good location to go visiting. The only issue I had was that the electricity kept tripping. It seemed that it really couldn't have much on before it tripped out. You had to be quite select in what you were using. Other than that, we had a lovely time.

We originally booked our motorhome in for one night, but changed to two nights as such a wonderful site. The staff were very pleasant. The site and amenities are very good, clean and tidy. The hardstanding sites for motorhomes are also very good. Clubhouse was also very good. Recommended.

Toilets and showers were shut for cleaning at 9 am, which I consider peak time. The pool was also closed. We were unable to get food on Saturday afternoon. The food and drink were expensive.
A disappointing stay

Unfortunately our stay was a bit disappointing, it would probably be better when all facilities are working. On arrival, and having levelled and set up our motorhome, we discovered the electrical supply was not working. On reporting this to reception we waited a further hour to be informed there was a problem and we would have to resite to another pitch. Also on arrival, we discovered the indoor pool was closed for maintenance. This had not been notified to us when we booked nor was any email sent prior to our arrival notifying of this inconvenience.

Great holiday park, I don't think it was great value for money considering we had a non electric pitch on the field which was a little away from the facilities (reason why facilities was given 4/5) facilities themselves were great 👍 Considering it was just a grass pitch for the night I think the price should be have been cheaper for 2 adults rather than what I had paid, seeing as electric pitches were only a few pound more and you seemed to get a lot more for your money, which I would have been happy to pay if I had known.

Great location next to Talland beach and Looe, but the focus on public image means they are not focussing on maintaining basic facilities - like toilet doors locking, hot water working, lights working, hair dryers working, etc. There are many caravans at Tencreek which have been there for years. They have tatty hook covers, awnings which are destroyed and make the place feel less like a friendly family camp site.

We stayed in the meadow and had a fantastic view from our tent. The field was quiet which we liked. The toilet block is in the main field, much busier but only a short walk. The site is well maintained and tidy, shower block clean and all staff exceptionally polite. The swimming pool was great for my toddler and I wished we'd booked a few extra sessions. We had breakfast one day - and this is the only part of the stay that was not great value for money. Cereal, toast or cooked food but no vegetarian alternatives or fruit available and no choice to just have cereal or toast. Location is good, easy access to many different areas.

Two night camping stay in the meadow with children. Facilities were very clean and swimming pool was easy to book and use. We had buffet breakfast one day which was pleasant. We took our dog with us which meant we could not go to the bar in the evenings or join in with the entertainment. The staff were helpful and the site is very clean. The camping meadow is on a hill and it is noisy at 11pm-ish when the entertainment stops.

Location was great, beautiful view and walks. The pitches were on a slope and changing to a level pitch was a job, however in the end we were moved and we were happy. Food menu was very simple with pizza and burgers, fish and chips. Not really many vegetables or fresh fish even though the place was a mile from the bay with an abundance of fish. Entertainment was mainly aimed at children. There wasn't a notice of what to expect each night apart from bingo which lasted an hour and a half... So that could be improved. It wasn't all bad but we will probably not return there again.
