Lovely little site off the beaten track, quiet, clean and friendly staff. Compost toilet outside accommodation and running toilets and communal kitchen as well as communal showers near the entrance.

Great place to stay with the added bonus of the communal kitchen. We stayed in the star gazer and it was big enough for family of 4. We collected the chicken eggs in the mornings also, which was a nice little extra.

We had a great stay at West Kellow Yurts. I will say that you should listen to their welcome email and avoid Kellow Hill unless you are used to driving up steep, windy lanes! That being said, the location is a bit remote (it has its plus sides as it's lovely and quiet) but you will be driving down country lanes no matter which way you go. The yurt was a good size. Sadly, the weather was not on our side, so it was a bit damp the entire time we were there, even with the fire going full blaze. There was a gap between the door and the frame and I don't think that helped. The rain was pelting away though, and there was no leaks, so that was comforting! The communal kitchen was awesome. It had everything you could need including pots, pans, cutlery and a fridge/ freezer (the freezer is hiding in the smaller kitchen!) The toilets were clean, but I think a separate toilet block would be helpful as the toilets and shower are together in the same room. As there are only 2, in the morning you may be waiting for your morning loo break! Also, there is no lighting at all in the yurt so bring along a camping lamp or you'll be trying to do everything by candle light. All in all, we would stay there again. Hopefully next time, the weather will be better and we can enjoy the sea view and the walk down to Polperro.

A perfect place to stay. Great location. Fantastic communal kitchen, for those rainy days when you can't cook your food in the fire pits...loved it.

Kellow is a beautiful location just outside of Polperro (which in itself is a fantastic little fishing village), the different huts and yurts all have wonderful character. The Stargazer that we stayed in is cozy and remarkably well built- we weathered a proper windstorm with no leaks, draughts or adverse effects. The hut is advertised for up to four people, but I wouldn't recommend more that two adults and a child, as it's a tight fit. The bedding was super comfortable, and it's a short walk to the shared showers and cooking units. Showers were hot and clean, and having chicken coops onsite means fresh eggs! Definite recommendation for us, only issue we had were the indoor LED lighting was on the fritz and an outdoor chair broke due to age/exposure. Big thanks to Matt for being responsive and very friendly.

Very excellent facilities. Bed was comfy and tent was clean. We were provided a couple of bikes to get to the kitchen and shower block.
