Hendra stay

Very happy with our stay. Very polite staff, plenty to do and everywhere was really clean and presented well. Definitely will be coming back again.

Best holiday

This was our first time staying with Hendra and they did not disappoint! Staff were amazing in every part of the park. The shows in the evening were fantastic and the pitches and facilities were immaculate. We loved every second and are sad to be going home. My daughter especially took a shine to one of the entertainers, Molly. Molly went above and beyond with my daughter and all of the children and guests there, as did all of the entertainers. She was very sad to be leaving Molly, but is excited to hopefully see her again next year. We're looking forward to maybe spending 2 weeks with you next year as a week just isn't enough.

Lovely, clean and friendly park

Great location

First time staying in Cornwall, Hendra is the perfect location for short drives to multiple beaches and for things to see and do. The campsite itself was so quiet, clean and secure.

Amazing experience

First time at this resort and I would 100% come back. We took our 8 month old puppy on her first trip away camping and she absolutely loved it. The people staying as well as the people working here have all been so lovely and take great pride in keeping the site at a very high standard. Location is great with many beautiful beaches on the doorstep. Already planning my return and next time I want to stay longer! Didn't want to pack up and return! Highly recommend this site.

Hendra Holiday Park

We stayed on grass electric pitch which was big enough for us and our awning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Park was good, outdoor swimming pool was a bonus as weather was hot. Bar area was good and we did use the land train to go into Newquay, although we got the bus back which dropped us outside the park. We had a lovely stay.

Great stay and lovely, helpful staff and security

Had an amazing few days here, we were very lucky to have visited on a quiet weekend so were very close to all amenities, which those we had time to use were fantastic. The Fish and Chip shop being open until late after a late 8pm arrival on the Friday was a god send! The staff we met were all very friendly, in particular Paul who was on security was very helpful and very kind! Great weekend away and look forward to coming back soon!

Brilliant holiday at Hendra with the family, best site we've visited

We've just had 6 brilliant nights at Hendra and really have had the best holiday, helped by the weather being so nice! The site is super tidy and clean, with really exceptional attentive staff, and every one of them was super friendly and helpful! The food and drink was really good value and the swimming pool and slides were the icing on the cake of an amazing holiday! Thanks also to the entertainment staff, they had us in stitches at night and all the acts that were on were brilliant! Thanks, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic campsite!

We love it here, there is so much to do for all ages no matter what the weather! The staff are really happy and friendly and as soon as you arrive, you feel the holiday atmosphere. Can't wait to return again next year!

Great place to stay

The whole park, both inside and out, is immaculately kept and seems very well managed. The staff are friendly and efficient. On-site prices are very reasonable. Bar prices for both food and drink seem to be on par with pub prices. Food from the Terrace Bar was excellent and served quickly. Fish & chips from the on-site takeaway were some of the best I've eaten, and priced at just £6.90 (I paid £11.50 at a Caravan Park at Devon recently!). The park is huge, but sectioned into smaller areas. It's very quiet at night (unlike some large parks) and just a short 10-minute drive into Newquay.

Brilliant. Staff are brilliant! Loads to do! Showers and toilets were really clean. Really good site.

Great get away with the little ones

Great park for families with smaller children, although not a lot for teenagers to do. Facilities and services were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The shop was a little pricey but you get that everywhere!

Good family campsite

Hendra is in a good location on the outskirts of Newquay with great views of the surrounding area. It is a popular site with families of all ages so did get quite noisy in the mornings and evenings - probably not for those who want a quiet and peaceful time. Facilities are good with large toilet and shower blocks and cleaned regularly. The live music in the evening was great. We unfortunately had heavy rain and the pitch got quite boggy and muddy with driving the van on and off... but that's British weather for you.

Loved it

Had a fantastic stay at Hendra after not being on holiday for over 2 years due to the pandemic. The park was stunning, really clean and plenty to do. Would definitely come again and highly recommend to anybody. We were a little worried it would be loud and crazy as perfect park for young families and we came as a couple, but we had absolutely no issues at all. Can't wait to come back!

Lovely place for families

Didn't like the gravel area as hard standing as trampled into motorhome all the time and personally thought we were put at the furthest point of the site for not having transport. Had to use the local bus to get anywhere. Lovely place for families and value for money. Restaurant and bar very reasonably priced and food lovely.

Happy stay

A very happy short stay. Would love to go back.
